Batshitcrazy... ROTFLOL Point well taken! I was just trying to see how much traction the Stone had with this generation and it appears to be ZERO. I have no doubt they will fill stadiums, but I darn sure won't be in one of them. People love old rock that is about all that proves in my mind. The question is do they deserve taking over a channel for a month. If its like Renaisasance man says and Sirius gets publicity out of it then it will probably be worth it. I can live with it, but I'd still prefer Soundscapes.

I too love classic rock, but after listening for about 45 minutes I heard enough of Jagger yelling and I doubt I'll listen again. Except on Sunday to make sure by some chance that Sirius actually puts Soundscapes on, but that is probably hoping against hope. :\

DAB: Your prayers for more New Age on Sirius are soon to be answered, and Sirius will get a lot of publicity from the Stones tour. A most excellent combination. It's a clear win-win situation.

I don't know about Soundscapes, but I did see that the Celtic show is gonna be on Disorder, but I'm sure, as plugged in as you are that you already knew that.

Hmm, well, I'm a Stones fan and a Soundscapes fan, so I'm kind of torn two ways about Soundscapes being pre-empted for this station.

I guess my take is that if we get a full-time Soundscapes station on 99 (or 98, or whever) when the Stones leave, then it's acceptable vindication by me. Will make me want to subscribe again!

Hey, that's news to me, and I like the sound of it. Did it say when it would be on Sirius Disorder, and if they were going to have a regular re-broadcast of it?

I knew it!!! I knew there would be some Stones fans who would rather not see Horizons being torn apart.

Edit: Just found the answer to my question;
Celtic Crush - Now on SIRIUS Disorder // Ch. 24!
New Times: Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm ET
Rebroadcast: Tuesdays 10 pm - 1 am ET

This shows me atleast that Horizons is down there on listener #s, which I've thought for quite some time. Although some of you don't like it please understand they wanted to tick off as few people as possible.

Anyways, I am enjoying listening to this sparatically.

Oh this is just great! Yet ANOTHER dissing of Soundscapes by Sirius! Elvis, Eminem, The Stones, what's next? More weather channels instead of a dedicated Soundscapes channel? Is this for real? Does Sirius think they only have rock fans as listeners? I'll believe the full-time Soundscapes rumors when it happens! Hey - Sirius - how about this? Maybe you can have someone read license plate numbers on a dedicated channel, instead of a new age/ambient channel?!!!

What "shows you" that? The people who regularly listen to Soundscapes on Sundays and/or Celtic Crush on Saturdays, but may not monitor this forum, have not yet experienced the tragedy that has happened to the channel.
