Typically Sirius subscribers are all about options and choices - you listen to what you want to and I'll listen to what I want. It's what makes Sirius so great to have all the choices for every type of music fan. Makes you wonder why it is SO important for atheists to criticize Christian rock? It wouldnt be because they are biased and have an agenda would it? If you think about it, it may be psychological. They must have some reservations, doubts, and unease about their atheistic beliefs to feel the need to protest SO much.
I'm an atheist who criticizes Christian rock because it's self-limited creatively. I just dont understand how many more ways "God is great, and i am a sinner" and "Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins" can be fashioned into lyrics. I also agree that hard rock has to have at least some sort of abandon, danger and edge. As far as atheists doubting their beliefs, in my opinion, anyone with an ounce of logic ALWAYS doubts their atheist beliefs, because it's difficult to excuse ANY possibility. It's that same skepticism that WON'T let them believe in Christianity or any organized religion. In closing let me thank you for inferring that atheists are all protest-driven, agenda pushing mental weaklings.

have you ever heard christian death metal? it sure aint pussy music!
and think about this. satan is accepted by everyone. Jesus is hated by most everyone. so...if someone says they are a christian in public doesnt that make them the bigger man. because athiests and satanists and other world RELIGIONS are always persecuting them. and if you get a chance check out the band horde...

you may be refering to praise and worship music, the sole purpose is to praise God. Christian rock does not follow this path usually. Check out Thousand Foot Krutch, 12 stones, Pillar, P.O.D., Day of Fire, Haste the Day etc...definitely not praise and worship. You can find Praise on 66, you used to could find christian rock on 67. I think theres a big confusion to the difference on this forum, in the general publics mind and at Sirius.

Default Don't criticize what you've never heard. 67 Rocks!

Here we go again. People criticizing something they obviously never listened to, because if they had they would soon know that the musicians on Revolution finally know what real music is. No it's not praise, so just move on and find something else to chat about. You can't discuss something intellegently with babies, or athiest or whatever they are. Sirius can cater to real people who have taste in music or in thugs who listen to the Punk station, or Stern. Yes there are other good stations on Sirius but they just cancelled the station that made them look good, now they just look like everyone else. Too bad for sirius. I see no reason to resubscribe to radio that costs money when they won't offer a real christian rock station.

Ya i hate ppl who criticize things they dont listen to. Those ppl who criticize Stern obviously listen to him all the time. Of course everyone that likes punk music or Stern is a "thug". But you are right, i hate ppl who assume things. Atheist = babies, i love that insinuation too. Now let's move to the laughable statement that Revolution is what made Sirius look good. That is so blatantly ridiculous. Walk up to your local Best Buy or Circuit City associate and ask them how many people ask them about Christian rock on satelitte. Maybe 1, 2 ever? By the way, if the music isnt "praising" then is it CHRISTIAN rock? Or do the artists just say "I Know our music has nothing to do with Christianity, but we are a christian rock band" ? It's all so silly.
