I'm at least going to give it a chance.

If it turns out to be a suck channel, Sirius will get rid of it soon enough.

I agree totally DAB about "the Blend". It is certainly one of the best channels on XM. It is kind of a mix of an Adult Contemporary format and a Jack FM/Adult hits type format. I record a few hours on my Myfi of "the Blend" on most days to listen to at work. If most AC stations sounded this way and were this broad, I would love it. I love their slogan too, "the soundtrack of your entire life".
I definately prefer Sirius for most formats, but for AC, "the Blend" is far better than "Starlite" on Sirius. If "Super Shuffle" followed the mix that is on "the Blend" I would LOVE it. I think Sirius should consider making SuperShuffle a mix of all the "pop" channels instead of a mix of all the music channels. This would be a lot closer to the typical "Jack" format and would make a lot more sense and a lot better sounding station.
Anyway, I can't wait to hear what "Supershuffle" is going to sound like.
(Oh, and as far as XM and "the Blend" goes; it is one of 3 channels/formats that I prefer on XM. "The Blend"(AC), "BPM"(Dance hits), and "Watercolors"(smooth jazz) are the three that I think are better than their Sirius equivalents. Otherwise, I prefer all the other formats and channels on Sirius.).

I look forward to this station but wonder how jarring it will be with all the different types of music. I cant imagine going from Metallica to Elton John to Ice Cube to Garth Brooks and so on. You'd really have to love all genres of music to be able to stay on a channel like that for any length of time. Still cant wait to check it out though.

I am excited by this channel. I like variety and this is what you get without having to keep flicking around!

So far I'm loving it. Just now I've heard:

The Chieftans
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Stevie Nicks
The Four Tops
Stone Temple Pilots

I think yesterday I heard Guns N Roses back to back with Frank Sinatra. This is EXACTLY the channel I've been looking for. (Unfortunately, Steely Dan is included in the shuffle.)

I love variety in my music. I like to listen to Metal, Pop, Rock, Showtunes, Classics and Country. Having them mixed in one channel is great.

Although, I don't think I've heard any of the Broadway's Best or country songs on Shuffle yet.

I also thinks it's ok, it is kinda odd, one sec I'm listening to Norah Jones, next thing I know I'm listening to Elvis!

According to the feedback and polls in this thread, this Channel isn't a waste of bandwidth to a good majority
