so far im a bit disappointed in channel 2 xmas music selection....

although i don`t mind the wide verity(50`s-now) there seems to be some off the wall selections.

not the songs,

but the singers singing them are not the ones im used to hearing.

So far I`m diggin` the variety on Starlite...I`m glad that when I tune in I don't hear the same standards over and over.

Starlite is a bit to repetitive, but other than that I am enjoying it.

Starlite is nice if you want songs about the jolly old fellow.

It would be nice if Sirius would have a dedicated channel that plays traditional Christian Christmas Songs also, Silent Night, O' Come All Ye Fathful, O little Town of Bethlehem, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, are just a few that come to mind.

ch 62 plays a few now and then but then I have to listened at all of the other wang and twang country songs.

Doesn`t the church channels play that kind of music?

Who at Sirius chose the Xmas music being played on Starlite 2?

First, the play-list is VERY short. Sounds like a continuous loop of about 100 tunes. Second, rarely if ever are tunes played that have any reference to the Christian significance of Xmas. Lot's of Frosty, Rudolph, Santa and snow but where are the traditional tunes like It Happened on a Midnight Clear or Silent Night etc.? Has Sirius made a political correct play-list? Sure sounds like one.

i am really enjoying the christmas music on channel 2. i am so glad that they did not take movin' ez off the air for the holiday music, like they did last year.
i have no problems with the music or artist selection. it's nice to turn on the radio and listen to the familiar standards, along with a couple of different artists. sure there's repetition, but don't ALL the channels at sirius have repetition?
and let's not get into the, oh, i wish they could play the traditional tunes. let's just enjoy it. it's christmas....soon.
