Pat St John - Currently on 4 streams (Blues, Classic Vinyl, The Vault, and the 60s), and has done promos for Sirius (ie Stern announcement) that are broadcast on all streams.. And he has a job on terrestrial (Q104.3 on Saturday mornings)

The man doesnt sleep...

I'm kinda suprised to see Madison listed, but to each their own.

She always struck me as the DJ who was trying to be cool; saying stuff just so she could sound edgy. Actually, she reminds me of the DJ on the alt channel on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Pat St. John is my favorite too. Great rock DJ voice, and extremely knowledgeable about the music. I also grew up listening to him on FM radio in NYC, and he's still great today.

chalk up a vote for Liquid Todd too. Noticed that he gets down to the point between songs, plays a good selection of stuff, and doesn't ramble for 10 minutes about what he did over the weekend.

Richard Blade gets my vote for the interesting comments and backgrounds on some of the artists.

Note to Richard

Please don't talk once a track has started like Snakeskin does.

2nd.... hey I like Madison too. She's funny in a dark way that I like. I picture her with Blue hair.

First let me get the two worst out of the way: A.D. and Madison. - Worst. "DJs". Ever.

Now for some my favorites:

Jose of Hard Attack - The guy knows his metal.

El Covino of Octane - One of the few DJs who actually answers emails.

Jewelz Lopez of Octane - The sexiest voice on satellite radio.

Rude Jude of Shade 45 - One funny bastard.

Jason Ellis of Faction (Let me just be clear that I don't like having DJs on Faction, but if it has to be anybody Ellis is a good choice)

As you can see from the list, I'm not a fan of the traditional DJs you would normally hear on FM radio with the annoying "radio voice" (SIRIUS does have quite a few, BTW).

There's a few more favorites from Disorder and Backspin (and others), but I can't think of their names at the moment.

by station:

Buzzsaw: Keith Roth ( who kind of sounds like Danny Bonaduce, hope he doesn't look like him too!)

Classic Rewind: Pat St. John, Mark Goodman (probably the only of ex-VJ's who are on everyday who aren't grating.

Outlaw Country: Meredith and Mojo

70's: JJ Walker (god he has that DJ jivvvvvvvvvvve down pat!)

BTW, Barry Williams either needs to stop writing his copy, or should be replaced by Susan Olsen (at least she was a DJ, right ?)

yeah Jason Ellis is a blast and Covino is just awesome. Both of them are great DJ's and really bring a great personality to each station that they are on.

Its amazing how Pat St. John can squeeze 28 hours of broadcasting into a 24 hour day - great dj by the way- one of my favs that I forgot to add.

He talks really fast

Hey Joe, Just found out - my Richard and Young Lions documentary is on its way to Anchorage for the Film Festival there (http://www.anchoragefilmfestival.com) in December!! I figure, you'll probably be in Arizona then, but "just in case"

Count me in for Richard Blade on First Wave. Every once in a while he can talk a little too long (like his reality TV rants) but I don't hold it against him because he always has something interesting to say.
