It doesn't really help that most of the cars on the road today also look so much alike. (My mopar excepted, of course! )

It sure does. But as I'm LazyGeek's brother, I can assure you that it was a nice clean race prepped car.

Those Twisted Sister cars were out of hand. I love that these new COT cars aren't like that anymore. That old car was just the poster child for Nascar's misguided years of "gray area" rulings. I hope they continue to avoid allowing the garage to massage the "gray areas" of the rule book.

While the COT is odd looking and I don't much like the ricer aspect of that wing, I'll live with it if the races are good!

I like these cars alot. I have liked them from the start. No you may not be able to look at them and tell what they are, but I know what my driver is driving and that's all I really care about.
And after seeing this weeks racing, I would have to say that I don't think it matters what these cars look like, we're in for one HECK of a season of "RACING"

My only complaint about the COT is that advertising isn't on the top of the wing.

The wings are handed out by NASCAR and I don't know that they will allow the teams to do that. Some of the teams do put decals on the side plates.

I think the COT at Daytona has done an exceptional job. I love the slingshot move that can be made. Goodyear should be absolutly ashamed of themselves becausewith over 6 months to prepare for this event, they bring this pitiful excuse for a racing tire where they cant even make a full feul run without fear of blowing tires.

I hope for the cookie cutters, Nascar follows the teams advice and makes the adjustments to the rules nessecary to allow the teams to make the cars handle better. A car that doesnt handle well, doesnt race well. These cars need to handle better to be able to put on the show we want.
