...I dunno, but you're right. They should be able to play all those shows. What was the point in NASCAR moving to Sirius if they're not going to play all the MRN and PRN shows. It seems that the only MRN show they play is NASCAR Live...

XM didn't play all the shows either, but those were the Country/NASCAR shows that were produced by MRN.

Default Well

I say write enough letters to Sirius. Explain that XM told us that we would get all the same MRN and PRN shows that XM had. Ask them why were not getting them.

Let me get this straight. XM told you that you would get these programs on sirius? Should you have not checked into this yourself instead of believing sirius' competitor? Its like hearing people from Coke say that when I drink Pepsi that it will taste the same but when I drink Pepsi it doesn't. Take responsibility and please think about the source of where you are getting your information. The channel is what..3 days old. Rome wasn't built in a day.

they are still working on programming for channel 128, the vp of sirius sports programming said it yesterday on sirius speedway, so its not totally completed yet. I already think this channel blows away XM's 144 nascar channel that they had. the shows sirius has on now are good and the personalities they have on them are good, they don't constantly rerun shows in the morning and old races throughout the day (which I couldn't stand). I'm lookin forward to the in car audio channels. they will be live from the track on race weekends too which should be cool. so far this is by far a superior channel to what XM had, in my opinion anyways.

No offense, but this is the craziest thing I've ever read. You asked XM what SIRIUS would be programming on their NASCAR Channel and now you are pissed off at SIRIUS because XM clearly lied and/or didn't know what they were talking about?

This channel will be tweaked over time and in my opinion is already so, so much better than what XM was offering. Strange thing the same thing happened with the Playboy Channel. It sucked on XM and yet moves to SIRIUS where they give it a little of attention and suddenly the programming is so much better. Playboy isn't exactly my cup of tea, but I know what XM offered on it vs SIRIUS and the same can be said of NASCAR.

PRN's Pit Reporters is a seasonal show (the first show is after the Daytona 500). MRN's NASCAR Performance Live is also seasonal. I'd assume by the time Speedweeks rolls around they'll have all their ducks in a row and all of those shows will be airing, even if it requires NASCAR aiding Sirius by putting pressure on PRN.

But yeah Sirius is better than what XM had to offer. Old race broadcasts and piping in audio from Speed Channel became tedious.

However I hope Sirius doesn't do like XM often did and that was mess around with their schedule in the middle of the season. There would be a good 4 to 5 times a season XM would rearrange their lineup, especially in the evening when it came to the replays of their shows.

I hope they give more drivers two hour shows. Kevin Harvick, Kenny Wallace, Kasey Kahne, and Kurt Busch would be great to have on Sirius...

yea, I agree with ya. would be cool to get another driver show though. If you ask me Tony's show is a great improvement over Jrs' show and JJ's show over on XM. Its weird that they only have a half hour show a piece, and they don't air until 10 pm on a thursday.

I have to say after almost a week with the new Sirius Nascar channel I am very happy. I was an XM subscriber for just over 4 years in large part for Nascar. I dumped XM and went with Sirius about 10 days ago. After listening I can already say that I like the Nascar channel Sirius line-up better. I can listen to Morning Drive on my hour commute in to work and Sirius Speedway on my hour commute home. I just ran some errands and was listening to Front Stretch this morning. While XM had some pretty good shows, I think Sirius is going to be great. I am also a Tony Stewart fan so having his weekly 2 hour show to listen to is a real bonus. I am very pleased I made the switch and look forward to the season on channel 128.

So far, I'm liking what I'm hearing. I never had XM so I have nothing to compare it to. I've had Sirius for 15 months and 80% of the time it's on Howard 100/101. Noon to three is now 128 and I like the option of hearing Morning Drive at night as an alternative to Scott Ferrall, whom I've yet to fully embrace.
