ABC used to have Gene Burns on in the evenings but they dropped him for some reason. If you live on the West Coast you can get him on 810 AM from 7-10PM.

''Industry observers say a key reason for Burns' popularity is his knack for rubbing listeners of all political persuasions the wrong way.''

They ought to give Walter Williams a show. I always enjoy when he guest-hosts for Rush. He's a hell of a guy.

Dr. Williams is great! He'd be on Sirius Right, though. How about Dr. Gene Scott instead!! javascript:emoticon('')

Seems to me... Ive noticed that the left stream has a lot of mean spirited people on it..shouldnt sirius left be renamed Bush Bash? I mean come on..disagreeing with the politics is one thing but to be so full of rage and anger....I can almost feel the spittle hit the microphone when they go on and on and on about Halliburton and the Bush-oil-military-industrial-complex connection. Liberals never change it seems. As for me Im going to register to vote Democratic in the primary here in Michigan. Dean will set the party so far back even Saint Hillary wont be able to rescue it in 08. Ha ha.

I hate Michigan primaries... When McCain was running against Bush all sorts of liberals voted in the Republican primary... How does that make sence? And now the opposet is going to happen. Screwed up.

I like Sean and Rush... But I'd have to say your right. :-) It's all politics.

Thom Hartmann certainly never gets excessively vitriolic. He is very calm and reasoned and doesn't stand for any nonsense from the callers either.

If you turn on any AM Talk station in the country at any given time of day, you will hear somebody like Rush Limbaugh or Michael Savage ranting and raving about how horrible liberals are..

Sirius Left and NPR are 2 of the main reasons why I chose Sirius over XM. XM has all the Clear Channel right wing talkers you'd find on AM, while Sirius offers some great alternatives..

I guess all those liberals in the media like the ones on AM radio, and on The Fox News Channel have really hurt the airwaves.. lol..

I'm actually glad that Sirius represents both views, liberal and conservative..

The New Right invented hate radio.

What people call ''liberal'' these days is primarily what used to be called ''centrist''. For example, there has not been a Liberal president since FDR, but the Hate Mongrels can't say ''Democrat'' without attaching ''Liberal'' to the front. This is part of a coordinated effort to demonize the loyal opposition, destroy the 2-party system, and ripen the middle class for economic slaughter.

As far as I can tell, there are virtually no true conservatives on the radio anywhere. Those Bozos on AM radio are looking more like nationalist socialists by the day.

I'd love to see the two party system die... I think they're both too big and try to compramise on to many issues... I like'd Jesse Ventura, even though I didn't agree with some of his view points, because he didn't appologize for what he said...

Who was that old republican that said something about the way things used to be and was torn apart and the republican party shamed him... And H. Clinton just said something about Ghandi running a gas station and she had to appologize... I mean, I hate her, but for goodness sakes, that was funny... People need to quit wearing thier hearts on thier sleaves and lighten up.

(side note - I sure would like to see that spell check fixed.. ;-) It would make me sound a lot better)

Default MIKE MALLOY Show Sabotaged

Two nights in a row MM's show has been sabotaged by NONSTOP commercials, and recordings of other programs.
This occurred on Wed & Thurs nite 822/ and 8/23.
Did anyone else notice?
I'm gonna cancel this radio if they don't fix it.
SHAME on Sirius!

I've heard that, too. Something at either Sirius or Nova M is preventing Sirius from joining the network on time every night. So they play PSAs until they can resolve the problem. Last night it was especially peculiar because they apparently were switching satellite feeds around and settled on an info-mmercial for a while, with a doctor somebody-or-other selling vitamins. Each night, it has taken them at least 45 minutes to square the problem and get the show on the air. I listened to the KPHX feed on the Internet, and Malloy had started on time and the show was in progress.

Perhaps Sirius ought to inform us that they are having technical issues when these things happen.

I'm not A fan of lib radio but instead of preempting Sirius Left or Sirius Patriot how about Sirius Stars, Maxim, Cosmo, Out Q or Lime (whatever the hell that is). I'm looking at A Sirius schedule but it's not updated. It shows those channels that are not preempted for sports. I've never listened to Out Q or Lime. I've heard A bit of the other three. I guess there's an audience but me personally I wasn't impressed with any of them. I don't think it would hurt to preempt them for sports for A few hours. Leave the lefty and righty channels alone.
