Default Any chance of Michael Savage coming to Sirius?

Michael Savage, whose show is 'independently' syndicated, would be an EXCELLENT addition--He has a FANATICAL following (see his books on NY Times Best Seller list) which would only increase the Sirius subscriber base.

And while he's made several negative comments about sattelite radio, I thing enough $$$ would probably change his mind.

Sure ...

And given SIRIUS's programming acumen, they'd probably stick him on SIRIUS Left. :\

savage has made it known that he no longer has a use for satellite radio. therefore, he took himself off the satellite services.

Savage was on Xm and Sirius, as was mentioned he is not on either at his request. I miss his ranting, he was like a right wing Rhandi Rhodes.

Why did he want to leave satellite radio?

Because of Stern. He said that he didn't want to be part of satellite because it allows his type of filth on it, or something like that. :\

Why did he want to leave satellite radio?
Because he's apparently an idiot. Not because of the fact he left, but why and how. I guess he didn't care about the listeners who couldn't get his show on terrestrial.

I for one am glad not to hear Savage. He makes it hard to have a conservative standpoint on anything (which I do on some issues and liberal on others--I'm a hodgepodge) because you have to justify what he says in a debate; and it is IMPOSSIBLE to justify most of Savage's stupidity.

Yeah, but you know how AM radio is. At least where I live. I live basically in between 3 markets, right in the middle of Indy, Cincinnati, and Dayton. If you drew a triangle thru the middle of those 3 cities, I'd be in the middle, so AM reception is sketchy unless you've got a powerful signal. I have to deal with that to listen to Rome, although I don't listen to him much anymore.

You are right. Like all of his kind a good stack of green will change his mind. I don't need him in my SR though. They kicked him out of MSNBC for a reason

Because he doesn't let money dictate his principals and beliefs. Savage is no sell-out. He didn't fall for having to kiss the ass of the gay mafia, and let that caller who baited him know it. That's why he was dropped by MSNBC. The same MSNBC that is routinely at the bottom of the cable news ratings, week after week. Savage was on at 2pmPT on a Saturday. The worst possible timeslot to be stuck in to get ratings, and yet, his show drew better ratings than Keith Olberman and Dan Abrahms combined!

There is no free speech if you speak out against the left, or say anything that isn't PC. You can burn a flag and that's ok, speak your mind and you get censored. While I don’t always agree with his over the top style, I did find him funny. Rhandi Rhodes on AAR says things too, but she gets a pass.
