Whether you like Fox or not, it is a fact that Fox is in an interesting marketing position right now with XM. They just launched a new channel, Fox New Talk (168), which is unique to XM. XM can also boast that they are the exclusive satellite radio home of Fox programming. XM has Fox News Channel, Fox News Talk, and Fox Sports. SIRIUS currently has none of these channels, which is the reason why I purchased an XM radio recently.

I am very disapointed with the situation regarding Fox. It was part of my package and i enjoyed it. Is there any way that Fox will be back on DSirius? If not I will have to look into the possibility of switching to XM. I understand that some dont care but to others its an important channel and therefore its a loss to us.

If you're switching from Sirius to XM because of Fox, don't let the door hit you in the a** on the way out.

FOX News has been running the following promo for at least the last two days on TV:

"Looking for FOX News on satellite radio? You cannot be sirius. FOX News is only on XM satellite radio."

So it's fair to say there are hard feelings between Sirius and News Corp. And it would be a surprise to see FOX News back on Sirius anytime soon.

No matter what your feelings are on FOX News itself, it does benefit Sirius to have it on its service. FNC garners the highest ratings of any cable news network. Like the channel or not (and I do like it), it has importance to a large portion of America's population.

"Looking for FOX News on satellite radio? You cannot be sirius. FOX News is only on XM satellite radio."

And that is my point. As a Sirius fan that just chaps my ass. Regardless of if you like Fox, CNN or whatever the fuck you want. Fox is a big media company and now they are laughing at our faces and if you dick weeds THINK all those millions of peeps on FOX aren't paying attention you are stoned into some idiotic stuper. Sirius has been going down hill with their entertainment line up and I don't like seeing it. It started with Air America who also flipped us all the bird.

I agree with you. This is why I bought an XM Roady2 when they were on clearance for $20.

I agree with you also. I wish SIRIUS had everything I wanted so I would not need XM. I have SIRIUS for the music, the NFL, and EWTN. I have XM now for things that SIRIUS no longer has or never will get: FOX News, Talk, and Sports; MLB.

don't Forget we are losing NHL to XM as well. Also once the NFL Network goes full swing I wonder what will happen on the Sirius side.

Don't take it personally. Nobody's laughing at me, I don't work for Sirius. Relax, those ads are worthless. If you are sitting there watching FOX News on TV and that ad comes on, most people will say "So? I'm watching it right now on TV, why do I want to pay for an audio-only feed?" And yes, I know some of you are listening to FOX News audio on XM in the car, at school, while you sleep, in the shower, etc., but you know what? You are very special people known as "fanatics" and most people are content to simply watch on TV, either live or tape or TiVo.

Not trying to say what you guys "want" them to do. I think Howard fans are the most fanatical and those commercials of howard are designed to get you to buy Sirius. I am thinking if someone is a fox "fanatic" just like Stern, and a commercial comes on and says "hey you can get fox while you are in the car" -People do drive you know - then those same "fanatics" might just go buy XM OVER Sirius. Tha'ts my point. And my other point is FOX news is a large audience. I am not content at watching TV at all. And I haven't for almost 10 years. Not that I listen to FOX either. I can't get off the music channels and if I feel like talk it's Mike Church or NPR. Tried the Young Turks a few times. It's like listening to my aunti bitch about everything.

That's right. I don't always have time to watch TV, so I can listen to FOX News in the car. Doing that does not make someone a fanatic though.
