Cool Dump Discovery and E Radio

Every so often we get a channel update and another music channel gets axed in favor of whats next???

Who Listens to a Donald Trump E True Hollywood Story on the radio. Or Dirty Jobs on Discovery Radio. Does Sirius pay for these channels? If there here for marketing only, I could see it a few years ago when the programming line up wasn't as full. Lets do what XM did to MTV and VH1 radio and dump E and Discovery.

Bring Sporting News Radio on board...and a lounge music channel.

IMHO E! could go but for some reason I see Discovery Radio being one of those sleeper channels, much like FolkTown was.

I don't listen to either one. I'm here for the music.
If I were the top programmer at Sirius, I'd upset a lot of people by eliminating a lot of the talk channels, and adding more music. But, that's just me.

Don't forget to take into consideration that Discovery Channel Radio also airs some SIRIUS-produced content like Kim Komando and The Mo Rocca Show. And if they did remove the channel those two shows would inevitably be dumped on SIRIUS Stars...which is need of another COMEDIC talk-show or two instead.

And my cable company recently removed E! from the line-up so SIRIUS is the only way I have access to it. Then again, I lost interest in it after Howard left and they cancelled Coming Attractions. Hell get rid of the damn thing already! Although I'm undecided on DCR.

I like the DCR, it sometimes has good programming on it. I could care less about E.

Like Chad said Star's needs big time help.

I don't listen to Discovery Radio that often. But I love E! Radio and would be upset if it got the axe.

F*ck me! PRI is gone? Jesus, I leave for six months and Sirius goes to hell. But we do have a Blue Collar Comedy Channel which featured (I shit you not) Ellen Degeneres the other night. If Ellen is blue collar, then I'm a lesbian.

I can't believe PRI is gone. I really oughtta get that channel guide out.

Yeah, a lot of people (including myself) aren't particularly happy with the removal of PRI. At least we still have the two NPR channels...BUT, there was even talk at one point that the two NPR channels might be leaving us! Hopefully they'll stick around.

Just an FYI: The Blue Collar was/is nothing more than a "Payola" channel like the single-artist ones and was launched to coincide with the Blue Collar tour and that piece of shit "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector" movie that ended up flopping something terrible at the box office. My guess is that SIRIUS is going to keep it to compliment the upcoming Nascar channel. Looks like the dumbing down of SIRIUS continues. Rumor has it that the next channel being added is a 24/7 one dedicated exclusively to watermelon spitting contests.

Post They are bad channels, no doubt

I thought E! radio was just filler, something to occupy a channel while they come up with something listenable.

Well, you can't argue with the poll! People love that crap. Go figure. I suppose the Cosmo channel is wildy popular too.
