Default 80's

I think that sirius plays so much music that i had never listen in the 80"s or music that was not so popular.
the 80's had a great music that i think Sirius has to play.

I gotta agree with you joe on that one. it sounds like what he is saying is that sirius plays obscure 80's music and it needs to play more of the popular music of the decade. if that is the case I have to disagree. I think, as im sure others do as well that sirius plays mostly hits on the big 80's.

Yes.. I think he is saying that a lot of the music on the 80s channel is obscure..

I have to agree.. I listened to the radio throughout the 1980s and I don't seem to recognize most of the stuff I hear on the 8-'s channel.

If thats what he is saying, I disagree. There is nothing played on Big 80s that is obscure. All the songs are hits, most are top 10 hits. I have to wonder how old the person is? If you lived in the 80s, and heard the music, this channel plays just the hits. Nothing obscure is being played.

It's a gross exaggeration that is misleading. Anyone who doesn't recognize the vast majority of what's played on XM 80's must not have listened to radio back in the era, or wasn't paying much attention.

honestly im disappointed with the 80s channel. Seems they play the same songs from the same artists all day.

Huey Lewis, Heart of Rock n Roll

Madonna, Like a Virgin

Dexys Midnight Runners, Come on Eileen

MJ, Thriller

The Cars, these guys are on every hour!!

What about songs like:

Axl F from Beverly Hills Cop
Miami Vice Theme
Songs from Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode, U2 (anything else beside With or Without You), heck there are a ton of one hit wonders too. As well as maybe some MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, etc. These artists made up the 80s.

I mean come on there are over 1000 songs with that 10 year period and this is all they play??? And i listen all day, station needs to get more diverse otherwise its no better than the Pop crap they play hour after hour on Free Radio stations.
