I like the eclectic nature of Fine Tuning, but Super Shuffle is just like pressing a random channel button.

I'll tune back in several times over the next few days
I agree, not impressed so far though I will keep trying. Very dissapointed in the lineup change overall so I am really hoping I find something good out of it.

Yeah, I heard them play "Luchenbach Texas" by Willie and Waylon a little while ago. That wasn't that bad though, and it was a big well-known hit anyway. I didn't mind it and it seemed pretty cool. I guess a little country thrown in isn't that bad of an idea. I'm just saying I'm glad they haven't so far thrown in instrumental jazz, classical, etc. and things that would really sound out of place. Also, I'm a big dance fan and love "Area 33", "the Beat", etc., but I don't think the music from "Area 33" should be included on this channel. It just wouldn't flow. "SuperShuffle" should concentrate mostly on the decades/rock/pop, more mainstream big hits. It's ok if they go a bit deeper occasionally, but as long as they keep the focus on mostly bigger, more mainstream genres, I think it will work. So far to me, it sounds a lot like a "Jack Fm" station, only a bit broader and deeper. (But not completely over the top). I just don't think it would work it they played Ernest Tubb into DJ Tiesto into Bach into Snoop Dog into Charie Parker, etc. So I'm glad it's mostly "pop" or mainstream channels that are mostly in the mix, with a more off the wall "spike" record every now and then.

Hate it, hate it, hate it. Did Sirius not have enough "hits" stations already? This sounds a lot like several local FM stations, which I bought satellite radio to avoid.

Love it!

SuperShuffle is perfect for the office, you can just put it on and let it play and not hear stuff from same genre. Haven't heard any hip-hop or anything so it's safe for a work environment.

It will make one of my "office / work" presets. I do my preset banks by where I am listening.
Bank 1 - Car
Bank 2 - Office
Bank 3 - other
Bank 4 - News/Sports/Traffic

I am going to try a couple of the new channels now online. I won't be in my car on my way to work till 1:30. I have been leaving early just to cruise and listen I love it.. But I want to check out this channel and a couple others. It's so cool to be able to just listen to whatever type of music your in the mood for at anytime. It's Great!! I keep saying this in all my post but I love Sirius and my new Kenwood CD/MP3 player in my car.

Someone mentioned about the text where it says compser showing where the song is played also.. I put my setting on composer once nothing was there. But I don't use it. On Sirius I just show the channel name then the song then the artist. I have the channel name and artist in blue text then in the middle the song scrolls in yellow. I just changed it last night and it's cool. I am so glad I returned my Kenwood MP228 and spent the extra money on the one with the better display and 3 lines of text it's awesome.. Rose

I agree something from Area 33 might sound out of place, but maybe something from The Beat? They seem to be ignoring the Electronica category completely. Oh well, just par for the course with Sirius. I don't even care anymore.

I expected Shuffle to be more 'feel good music', and to feature more recognizable pop hits.

The mix is pretty boring from what I've heard so far. Too much rock oldies and not enough from other genres.

I am listening now on-line.. I tried 2 other channels also one was instumental didn't care for that... But I am on my 2nd song on shuffle and I like it.. The 1st song on was something my mom would of liked it was ok but now a slow song that I know is on and I like it. I will listen to it more and decide but it's worth tuning in to when your surfing to see what song is on what.. I may add it to my preset I don't know. I have to decide cause then I'll have to take one off. There is so many station I like on here.. Now there playing another song I like. I like the mix of songs there playing. I think I will like this.. Rose

I agree. Classic rock all around. Half the songs I've heard so far are either on Classic Vinyl or Classic Rewind, but to "switch it up" they'll say the classic rock song is on a decades station.

We want a better mix Sirius!

So far so good. Super shuffle is fastly becoming one of new fave stations on sirius. The mix is great I like the idea of being able to hear anyrhing from any of the stations on sirius, just as long as it don't go into a big classic block or decade block, just keep it mixed. I would have to agree it does remind me alot of The Jack FM formated radio stations, witch I do enjoy listening to when I can't listen to my sirius radio.

Way to go sirius on creating a great channel I am loving it kepp the shuffle coming.

I listened to it this morning and it wasn't bad. I didn't notice after a while on the screen scrolling by it says. "It on station so and so for each song." So I will have to listen some more order to like it!

Second song I've heard on it and I love it so far!

It's going to become a preset.

Super Shuffle is skewing toward an older demographic. No 90s, No Soul, No Surprise so far.

This sounds like a Steve Blatter type station - classic rock all the way.
