So far, I like it. I'm listening at work and it has been appropriate so far. It seems to be main stream type stuff from the other channels so it could work in the car with the family. Nothing too wild.

Thumbs up so far!

Ugh...can't stand it. I understand it's new and cool, but it's the exact same music, in the exact same form, as is all over the service. Hardly worth axing a mix channel (Wax or Remix) over.

So far, this lineup change is disappointing.

I gotta say... It must be tough to be Sirius, because they tried something different, and add new stations like Shuffle and just reading this thread it seems 1/2 the people love it and 1/2 the people hate it... So how do you please everyone when there is so much diversity in it's listners?

I personally have been looking forward to this since I heard it was announced. I listen to talk stations until 2PM, but after then, I'm switching over to check it out and see what I actually think now that it is happening...

I think if you read through the post you clearly see those that say they hate it is in direct correlation to the fact that they lost a channel they liked. If they had not lost a favorite channel they more than likely wouldn't hate this one.

I agree with you though, SIRIUS has a tough JOB!

Add more stations! But they can't due to bandwidth / technical limitiations. XM and Sirius really need to work on this! Until then someone is always going to lose when they "add" a new station.

So far I've heard one song from the last 15 years, and it is from 1993. Nothing yet from the last ten.

I thought this station would be cool, but it really needs a makeover. The name of SuperShuffle(refering to the iPod shuffle I'm sure) is a name for younger demos. Make it that way Sirius.

Yeah, losing a popular station is tough, but again... How do you please everyone?? I was really mad when they dropped Vacation... But since then they added BBC-1 which I love, so I guess sometimes you get some good new stations at the sacrifice of some good stations... I'm not a big dance fan, so the loss of Remix didn't upset me, but I read for weeks how popular it was, so I can understand how people will miss it and blame Shuffle or the other new stations for taking its place!

Whitesnake followed by Sting followed by the Beach Boys.

This promises to be interesting.

So far I like it, it's a good mix. No need to change the channel and just let it play in the background! Not a bad job sirius.

I knew it! I knew it! I listened to shuffle all morning and it is nothing but another station to cram more classic rock down our throats. Why even say a mix of everything?

This is shuffle:

classic rock
classic rock
classic rock
kool and the gang
classic rock
classic rock
classic rock
bridge type song (classic rock basically)
classic rock
classic rock
country song
classic rock
classic rock.....
Standard

HOW MUCH CLASSIC ROCK DO WE NEED???????

Strange that you would say that as it is just as I feel and I LOVE IT!

Exactly!

Some of the people made up their minds before they heard the first song. I know that they are upset that they lost their station (as I would be if Totally 70's went away) but they need to try and judge this station on its merits to meet the needs of the Sirius audience.

I think this will be a hit, I know that I like all kinds of music and will tune in to see what comes up next!
