I found a transition from Guns N Roses to Frank Sinatra to be intriguing but kinda flippy at the same time. Hoepfully they can trasnition a bit more from song to song rather than the sharp turns and then it may be cooler. It has a preset but it may lose it soon enough. It really so far is not like XMs Fine Tuning which is what I was hoping for.

E.U. Da Butt and Outkast played this morning. It's expanding....

I like this channel now. I went to the page that showed what all it has been playing. I know I can hear Breaking The Law by Judas Priest and White Snake on other channels but then I see Rappers Delight and Kool and The Gang and you say they did OutKast and another this morning. I like that and someone mentioned Sinatra NY NY. I can handle a little of that thrown in.. I am presetting it when I get in my car.. I know you can go and see what's playing now but how do you see what's been played on a specific channel. I listen in the house all the time now when I am sitting at the computer.. But shuffle is one omy facorites out of the new ones.. I know people are mad that channels got taken away but I am new here that I didn't really know what they were.. Rose

do the advanced search....

http://www.siriusbackstage.com/songs...?mode=advanced

just pick Super Shuttle and then the last 24 hours as the time frame (or whatever time span you want).

I do need to say that I wish they had just called is Sirius Shuffle. Super Shuffle sounds kind of cheesy....(to me). of course, I am cheesy... so...

So far I'm in love with this station, it has so many different types of music that it keeps my interest all the time.

I mean think about it, they have Jazz with Rock with Rap....I haven't heard anything better. I hope XM follows along....

As the other thread indicated and as I've been saying all along...its a total waste of bandwidth and just one more step towards SIRIUS becoming just like FM radio. Now here comes those words SIRIUS is becoming notorious for - that just so happens to perfectly describe this channel:
  • Repetition
  • Hits-Based
  • FM Like

I'd swear I was listening to one of those greatest hits CDs you constantly see advertised on late-night TV.

And what's the point of listing what channel the songs are played on your display when most songs are played on multiple channels? Are people so lazy that they can't use givemesatelliteradio.com or change the damn channels? Seriously, all this does is encourage people to stay on one channel instead of experiencing what SIRIUS actually has to offer.

The only good thing this channel has going for it is that there's no DJs to talk over the music.

As usual SIRIUS has completely dropped the bomb.

I have added this channel as part of my presets-
It actually has informed me of some songs that I heard and liked but did not know which channel I would hear the song as I never listened to the channel that airs a particular song.

Clearly the poll indicates that you are wrong and very much a miniority on this one, but thanks for the opinion. I like it and think Sirius will continue to tweak this channel. 73 have either set it as a preset, like it well enough to listen again or think it okay, while only 23 don't think its for them or hope its removed. That says much more than than any one persons comments including mine.

I don't think I've heard a repeat yet, but then I am not listening 24/7 either, but I have listened for several hours.

Today it seems like they are expanding the playlist more, hearing more songs from channels other than rock/decades.

I listened for a little while, it is interesting, but I don't think that it will be a preset for me.

Maybe the reason they are not adding newer music is to keep it different from the Spectrum.

What I can see Sirius doing with this stream is having it become the default demo station when it is playing in stores, etc. Maybe even allow radios that have not been activated yet receive this and the preview channel. That way people get the feel for what Sirius music is like.

Just my $0.02.

Huh?

Wouldn't somebody with an attention deficit problem want to listen to a very small, defined range of music, instead of mixing Frank Sinatra with Isaac Hayes and Tom Petty?
