It's like Sirius on shuffle. The best SIRIUS music on one super station. You'll never know what's coming next on Super Shuffle.

I freaking LOVE this channel so far and YES it has gotten a preset. I also love the secondary line of text that says where you'll hear this song on the service. SuperShuffle is a keeper for me.

No this isn't Sirius Disorder!!!! In my opinion they aren't even close to the same.

I didn't think I'd like this stream, but what I've heard so far is OK..

Sounds like they spent about 3 seconds on the imaging for the station, but the music content flows very nicely!

How does the "Can also be heard on [channel name] on [number]" technology work exactly I wonder. It's not directly in the tag of the song, cause I'll sometimes notice either Artist / # / Song come up, before the whole string is filled in. One time, the display said "Searching\..." for about 5 seconds before the tags came up; the music was playing fine the whole time.

I listened for about 30 minutes on my way into work this morning. I liked it more than I thought I would. In that brief half hour, the playlist seemed pretty heavily oriented towards rock and decades music, but I did hear a soul and country song mixed in. It was definitely good enough to give it a few more listens, and it'll probably wind up getting one of my presets.

Let me guess...Sirius ignored the Electronica/Dance category for this channel? Haven't heard anything from it yet.

Your right !! no dance...no wonder it has not popularity...they push it under the carpet so people are never exposed. What's wrong with a little Tiesto? But then again, there is no Hard Attack, so that makes me feel better too... Have been listening all morning on and off and it is pretty much popular main stream with a variety of music without changing the channel. We will probably hear something from teh beat sometime along the way...nothing from Area "33"

Ugh.

This isn't Sirius Disorder. Sirius Disorder plays really cool, slightly off kilter rock tunes for the most part.

This is a good channel for the attention span deficient among us, I guess.

The bandwidth would be great for a folk channel.

Well said. With the limited bandwidth that Sirius has to playwith do we really need a glorified "scan" button?

This is really the only new channel that I think serves no purpose at all. Well the "silent" Stern channels are doing much for anyone right now either...

I like this channel a lot but did think it was a little strange to listen to Lita Ford followed by Frank Sinatra.

Later,
Bill

Wow! A big thank you to Sirius for "Super Shuffle". I LOVE this channel so far and completely disagree with the last two posts. Also, I am so glad that it kind of sounds like a "Jack FM" station and basically concentrates on the pop/rock/hits/decades material. If it had truly been a mix of all Sirius channels (classic country, jazz, classical, Christian, etc.) it would have truly been a mess and useless. The way it is is perfect, and the way it should be done. So far, it sounds very similar to a "Jack FM" type channel, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Big kudos and thanks to Sirius for this one, and for getting it right. This will definately be my favorite of the new channels and it has already gotten a preset on my radios this morning (number 5 on Band A). Good job Sirius!

I have really enjoyed SS since I got the updates this morning. Sometimes I just don't know what "music mood" I am in, and this type of channel fills that niche.

And I think the "Also heard on..." is the Composer area. I know on my wife's Kenwood HU, it has a display for Composer, and I've only seen it work on the Classical channels. So it looks like SIRIUS has used that text item to SS' advantage. I've also noticed that not all of the songs have the "Also heard on..." and then sometimes the "Selection made" sticks. Minor problems for a channel that is only 5 hours old.

Umm....I've only scanned through the channel a few times this morning and I have seen a song from channel 62 (Roadhouse - classic country) playing three times.

So far, I don't care for it. But, I'll give it a few days before I make up my mind. I wish it was a bit more like XM's Fine Tuning. I don't mind the variety. But, it seems more like just grabbing a song from each station with no thought to what comes next.

I like the eclectic nature of Fine Tuning, but Super Shuffle is just like pressing a random channel button.

I'll tune back in several times over the next few days
