Wink How long does Sirius' Christmas Stations last?

I just turned on my reciever and on channel 2, it's still going on...and it's the day after christmas. :-)

Now don't get me wrong, I just want to know how long does this go until...I would love it if they went all the way until New Years as I run on the twelve days of Christmas schedule (christmas for me starts on 25 and runs for 12 days :-P).

I think its safe to assume it goes till new years. Many people don't schedule their holiday parties on christmas, so, they keep it going till the new year.

Post According to sirius.com...

WELCOME TO SIRIUS HOLIDAY

Starlite is taking time off for the holidays: from now through Christmas, Channel 2 is SIRIUS Holiday! You'll hear all of your favorite contemporary holiday classics by Nat "King" Cole, Paul McCartney, Bing Crosby, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen and many more.

SEND A HOLIDAY GREETING TO SOMEONE YOU LOVE ON SIRIUS HOLIDAY! It's easy: just call 1-877-33-SIRIUS.

Starlite will return on January 1 at 3 am ET.

Good find nick190! I too thought that Starlight might be back today, but it looks like we've got one more week to go. It's been probably my favorite station anymore (I might have to change my avatar), but I guess we'll have to wait.

Default I hate Sirius Christmas

The only time in the past year I've purposely turned off my Sirius for terrestrial radio was to get away from Sirius Christmas. It has the worst selection of Christmas music i've ever heard.

If I hear "The same old lang syne" or "The Christmas Shoes" again, I'll off myself.

I wish it would never end. This is the first Christmas I've spent away from family and the music brings back so many good memories and feelings. I wish they could just combine Starlite and Love on ch. 3 and leave ch 2. Sirius Holiday.

Sort of along those lines, I think Sirus should have a Sounds of the Season channel. Sort of like how they have on my Music Choice channels on cable TV. They could have Christmas Music like they do now, then change as the year progresses. Like Patriotic music for the 4th of July, and spooky or closely related stuff for Halloween. That way we wouldn't have to lose some of our favorite stations, and other people who want the seasons extended would be happy too. Sounds good to me.

HOLY COW!!!! I thought I was crazy when I heard White Christmas... I did not listen long enough to see if it was one every hour or if it was something that was random... CC
