Arrow Starlite's back.

So long Sirius Holiday, Channel 2...thanks for all the memories :'(

For those of you like me who like to hear station conversions or if you're just curious to see what it sounds like, I've attached the Sirius Holiday to StarLite transition here as a zipped mp3 file (~40 secs).

Transition songs:
James Taylor's Auld Lang Syne -> "Sirius 2. Starlite." Ident -> John Mayer's Your Body is a Wonderland
Attached Files
File Type: zip SrHoli2Starlite.mp3.zip (35.9 KB, 30 views)

Yes, it is good to have Starlight back too. I was listening to The Bridge and after a couple of hours decided, to see if Starlight was back and it is.

I am glad to see Starlite back also... I am glad to see that they are also sticking with the more up tempo music also... It does not step on Sirius Love or Movin Easy... For the music I enjoy I am getting my money's worth... CC

I was getting excited reading this post, until I looked at the date. Oh well, wishful thinking.

Yes me too, "Wishful Thinking" I even looked at the date but I guess I wanted to see what I wanted to see.

For a moment I thought we received a present from Sirius that was just delivered

last song to be played on Sirius Holiday 2007 -- "I'll be home for Christmas" by Frank Sinatra
first song to be played on Starlite 2008 -- "Back 2 good" by Matchbox Twenty.

and in a few hours, once i get in my car, Starlite falls off my preset for 11 months.

I am just the opposite, Starlight will be back on my presets, because Sirius Holiday.. sucked. The constant repeats actually made me replace my old Starlight slot. XM like always kicked SIRIUS's ass on Christmas Music.

sirius actually did a better job with the holiday channel this year compared to years past. it was less repetitive and they were adding content all the way up and past christmas day. it's still relatively repetitive, but it didn't feel like their playlist had 30 songs and was set on repeat.
