Both, for now. XM is probably gonna get dropped shortly. I will probably keep my equipment in case things change over there.

I just got XM 2 weeks ago and after listening nonstop for a week and a half ( I'm a long haul trucker ) I decided that XM was the worst music source I'd ever heard. XMLM is no longer there. I listen to many genres and for each one on XM, I can name 5 major cities that have local stations that do a better job. I got rid of the XM a few days ago and am now Sirius about satellite radio. Hard Attack ROCKS!!!!! I hope to see
Goth/DarkWave/Symphonic Rock in Sirius' future programming though.

Metal Retardation was cool, even after 3 years of it.... but with XMLM gone, I switched to Sirius!

Check out my radio install...

I also have a Star Mate in the house.

Wrong. Nobody "won". XM lost quite a few subscribers. Sirius (Hard Attack) lost its main competition, which runs the risk of doing it harm in the long run. Competition is important to breed innovation and "greatness".

But the people who lost the most are the metal fans. XMLM was unique. Yes, it *WAS* different than Hard Attack. Not necessarily better, but different. I'll admit I prefer the mix and type of music XMLM played. And Ward Cleaver is a personal friend. But after about a month with Hard Attack I'm starting to appreciate their mix more.

Yeah, I was kinda being sarcastic man. I loved XMLM as well. I don't know Ward, but we've exchanged e-mails several times. I know he was probably as pissed off as we were with the loss of LM. I do like Hard Attack better, I just like their mix better. Ward did a good job though. I got in my friend's truck the other day, he has XM, and he was listening to Squizz, and I heard Ward introing a Linkin Park song. I bet he's loving that. But at least he's still got a job.

Default notes for Jose

nice to see some of the bands you keep adding. haven't heard much coroner since my cassettes died, and can't find it on cd. anyhow, as i'm not much of a fan of what some call "numetal", mostly since i can't stand vocals that sound like the mic is halfway down the singer's throat, and i've gotta have double bass played properly, i still think much gets overlooked. dimmu borgir? children of bodom? there's a ton of euro bands that never get played. i found out about a lot that i've been missing a few years ago on snakenetmetalradio.com, and many there are very knowledgeable. i suggest looking for some new and interesting choices on snake's playlist. keep up the good work. i have never been very disappointed with any of the music i hear on sirius, and i'm sure i never will be
