Default First Wave improved?

I have already noticed a change in First Wave's playlist...if this is an indication as to what is coming for the 19th then I will at least be happy with First Wave.

I hope that there truly has been a change on First Wave. I used to be a regular listener to the stream but got so tired of hearing The Thompson Twins. I put the station on the other night and did notice an improvment in the songs that were being played. Hope they continue to make the stream better.

I think it may be due to the SJ's influence of Richard Blade, Swedish Egil, and Freddie Snakeskin-

I was listening to "It's My Life" by No Doubt the other day and thought to myself, "This sounds very 80's with its beat and bass line..." and then on 1st Wave today, I heard the original by Talk Talk, which I had never heard before...or can't remember hearing.

It's one of my favorite streams and a great niche. I hope they keep it and don't dump it into the '80's stream or Alt Nation or something.

Yesterday was the first time that I've listened to First Wave for any length of time. I must say that I enjoyed it a lot. I don't know how it used to be, but what I heard yesterday was pretty darn good.

I put a request in yesterday before I went to work for AH-HA's "The sun always shines" on TV while Freddy Snakeskin was DJing, but i put a little note that maybe the folks might want to take a look here for the real fans feed back, think that might have had anything to do with my song not being played?

Perhaps that's true, but I think it has more to do with the fact that they don't play anything that deep anymore. That's a real good one, that I haven't heard on First Wave in months.

Has anyone here ever heard anything by Kraftwork on Firstwave? I'm still waiting on at least one song - even "I'm the operator" but they were real innovators with thier synthisizers

When I first purchased Sirius exactly 6 months ago, I heard "Trans Europe Express" twice. Now it's long forgotten on First Wave. Come to think of it, I can put together a long laundry list of deep cuts I NEVER hear anymore.

yea like right now they're playing Pure energy by Information society - this isn't what I would would expect from first wave . Actually I've heard this song at least 4 times in the last week. Another case of overkill.

They need to break out the old Casey Kasum sound bytes to go along with some of these songs.
