Default Any Beatles specials for Feb. 7th?

Do we know if sirius will do anything special this weekend for the beatles? Since it will be 40 years since when they came to america (feb 7th) I hope they do something. I noticied XM is doing a ton of things this weekend. I just hope sirius does :\

Well I emailed sirius yesterday and they replied today !

----------------------------------------------------------

Hi John,
Well, we have our mitts on some limited edition Beatles vinyl to give away! And we'll be playing more Beatles than ever before as we all remember the mop top lads. I think other streams will be doing other things as well.

Thanks for asking, and for listening!

Im looking forward to this!

The 40 year aniversary never even crossed my mind, but I have noticed over the past few days a large number of Beatles cover tunes on a number of stations.

Which streams will be doing this? I assume 60's and Classic Vinyl.

Amazing...I sent off 2 emails to Sirius regarding the 40th annivesary of the Beatles arrival to the USA. I recieved no answer other than the generic...thanks for writng, someone will get in touch with you...response. other than just randomly increasing Beatle songs played, how about replaying rarely heard gems like the live Shea Stadium, Hollywood Bowl concerts, Ed Sullivan, etc. I'm wondering what others think?

This is so typical of the un-evolved Sirius management:

''mop top lads''

Just another band to them.

I think I also heard that there will be a Rutles special on Saturday.

I'll post that without comment.
