Looks like one playing a day spread over two different streams. That is not too much repetition at all.

Every other day on a given stream seems pretty reasonable to me.

I listen to both streams, and don't find the repetition of this particular song to be an issue.

Other than april 10th it is like everyday. FM classic stations are not this bad. No song on a classic station should be played daily. If I want to hear the same songs everday I would just get a Ipod. Sirius should keep things fresh by rotating the music not the play the same S**t day in day out. I listen a lot during the day and guys it is getting tired. Especially this nerd rock tune.

I think we have different opinions about what too much repetition is. First of all, you're looking at two different streams. On their own, they play the song every other day. You said yourself that a song shouldn't be played once a day on a classic rock station. If you view each stream separately, they are not playing it once a day.

Regardless, once a day is not too much repetition to me. You are not going to find better variety on commercial radio. Perhaps XM would beat once a day, but you'd also get 10 songs an hour you've never heard before. Some like that better, I don't.

Hearing a song like that more than once a day on one station is bad. But hearing it on two stations is not bad.

I do not have much time but look at buzzsaw this April:the 11,9,8,7,6,5,4th(twice),3rd,2nd(twice)1st. So it is more than every other day. There is way to much "Hard and Heavy Classic Rock " to choose from than to keep playing the same S**T. We get all excited when Sirius adds a few songs to the rotation and were all happy but in reality we get a lot of the same stuff everyday.

I don't understand how they would be able to repeat that song so often anyway, with the thousands of classic songs available. I just wish they'd expand. There are plenty of popular songs.

This list is deceptive. I listen to Classic Rewind and Buzzsaw more than most other channels, and I think I've heard that song once in the last week. Notice the play times, and you will see it plays in the early morning and sometime during the day every other day or so. If you are parked on a single channel and never sleep, you might hear it once a day.

The point Manco is that with all the great classic rock it does not need to be on Rewind, Buzzsaw, or any station that much. Trust me this is only one example of many.

I am one of the biggest supporters Sirius has ever known, but this shallow playlist stuff may get people to try Sirius but keeping them is another story. I listen to Rewind and Buzzsaw like you and this best of FM Classic Rock approach makes for boring radio that I can get for free. Seriously, do you really just like hearing Heart Barracudda, Van Halen Jump and just the top hit from each band everyday? If your paying 13 bucks a month for that; a ipod would be cheaper in the long run.

Plus, what difference does it make if I listen to one or many streams if they play the same stuff on each of them? It makes it stale even quicker.

I should keep a count of how many times they play "Girls, Girls, Girls" by Motley Crue on Hair Nation every day.
