i just got my radio 1 week ago and i'm yet to surf the other channels.
well other than to show it off to my fellow co-workers........
i just can't get enough of this station hair nation all day long at work.
i heard a few popular tracks from Ratt and i thought to myself how cool
it would be if they played body talk and sure as shit within 15 minutes
it was cranking

everyone within about a 80ft radius had me tuned in

You will find many Hair Nation Rockers on here. HN is allot of fun to listen to and this is a good place to come and tell us about the "party days"

Enjoy HN and SBS. Looking forward to your future post and the party NEVER ends with Hair Nation.

ps249 is an unknown quantity at this point
Default new music

Wow- I'm hearing music that I have not ever heard on Hair Nation. I actually like Ratt now more than I did 20 years ago.I guess I only heard what the commercial radio stations wanted us to hear back in the 80's . What does everyone else think.....?

lol ps249... Your statement is so true. I really didn't care for Ratt back in the 80's. Now that Hair Nation plays such a great variety of their songs, I enjoy them.

I think you really weren't into metal back in the 80's then if you think the stuff they play is stuff that has never been heard before...

Just my two cents. Glad somebody is hearing something good...all I hear is repeats and shallow playlists.

Repeats and a shallow playlist is what I had on FM in the 80's. Hair Nation has really opened up the artist music with their hits over a 10 year span.

Great stuff and fun to listen to. Now back to Hair Nation.

Dude, there is no difference to HN and FM sans the commericals! They haven't opened up crap! Can you personally, even name three relevant artists that should be played on HN that was making "80's metal" back in the 80's? Probably not. I could name at least 60 - 100 artists.

I guess you were just stuck on the 80's hits back then if think HN is a great station...even KNAC and Pirate Radio on FM did a better job at programming then HN does today. Now back to my private catalog of great 80's metal you'll never to get hear on Hairnation...

I am sorry we don't see eye to eye but, woudn't the possibility of hearing even more great music on HN appeal to you? There is just so much music that is being overlooked by the programming directors on HN...it's like paying for a car and only getting half of it. You are missing so much great music by artists who, for the most part got overlooked back in the day.

Music is like wine. You have those who sniff their nose at what others enjoy. As if an eclectic taste is somehow better. And you have those who like what is mainstream. A bottle of Fetzer is just as good as a bottle from Chataeu Lafite. If you enjoy it's company. Like a bold and oaky red with chicken. There are no rules. Like wine there is just too much music to even begin to hear it all. But Sirius comes close.
