I must say, I have really enjoyed this station in the past few days. For some reason, I avoided it, figuring that it would be Deep Tracks-esque, which is just too obscure for me most of the time. However, the Vault plays rarely-heard songs from familiar artists off of great CDs that I bought in the 70s and 80s. Just listening to Tom Petty's "It's Good to be King", which I love, but have never heard on any radio.

Flipping between this and BBC 1, which is really amusing to listen to.

Yes, I like the Vault.. It's number 2 on the "A" bank of my preset buttons.

It's nice to hear the odd song you've never heard by a major popular group.

What I don't like is the repeats.. They don't repeat the same song on the same day, but if you listen over several days, you start hearing the same songs.. A station that features deep tracks should be able to go a week without playing the same song.

Also.. This is strictly personal taste.. But I find there's a bit too much country music. They play quite a few crossover songs by country artists or real twangy tunes by non country artists like 'Living on Tulsa time; by Eric Clapton. I don't hate country music.. (I listen to the Roadhouse the odd time)... I just feel the Vaut should stick to rock.

I absolutely love this channel. As the slogan goes, "songs you forgot, by artists you remember". I can't stand all the BS on Deeptracks and other than an occasional U2 song, I really haven't heard any alternative music on the Vault. A better classic rock channel doesn't exist.

The Vault is one of my favs too but there's still alot of songs I'm waiting to hear. It is so great to hear one you remember from 30 or more years ago but haven't heard since.

You've never heard "It's Good to be King" on the radio? And I thought my local FM sucked!

I just requested my namesake song from U2, Hawkmoon 269. Wonder if they'll play it

The Vault is one of my favorite stations. It's a nice change to hear something different that I haven't heard in a while.

Vault and Classic Vinyl are my #1 and #2 presets with Vault being my favorite by about 51% to 49%. Some really good songs that you would NEVER hear on regular radio.

I also agree. I don't understand how a station that promotes itself as playing "songs you forgot, by artists you remember" repeating the same songs every 24-48 hours....But overall I love the station. It's my favorite along with Little Steven's Underground.....

But are they recycling the same sets of songs, or just the occasional individual song? It's no big deal to me if I hear one-off songs repeated on "deep" stations from time to time. Sometimes those songs are so good that I want to hear them again. If the wider playlist is repeating every 24-48 hours, that's a different story.

Love the Vault. Would like to see a psychedelic show, say 3-4 hours a week. I know Bob Kranes plays some psychedelic, but they need wider exposure on that stuff and a set time.

The Vault is my default station while driving. My only gripe is too much Springsteen (I know, redundant).
