Anyone out there- Is there a channel that plays a lot of the 90's grunge rock? Just curious.
riches to SBS and to the party!! It just keeps getting better with Hair Nation.

Hair Nation was a huge reason why I switched from XM to Sirius. XM was lost when it came to rock music and I could never get "comfortable" with any of their music channels. Got tired of flipping around all the channels..

With Sirius and Hair Nation, I listen now 6-10 hours a day to Hair Nation.

Rock on and play it loud or dont play it at all

HN doesn't seem to be too big on special shows, so I doubt this would happen. It can't hurt to email the station and ask though!

They used to try to mix in some "new hair cuts" into the programming when a big band of the era had a new song out, but I haven't heard any "new hair cuts" in a long time.
Yeah, they played the hell out of Black Label Society and Gene Simmon's song "Asshole"...it would be nice if they started doing this again. Hopefully, Eddie Trunk will bring something to the table.

To me , Hair nation is like going to a classic car show, all the new cars that are in the parking lot just do not fit in like the classic's on display!

And to think those over at the Boneyard think a classic car show should also contain those cars found in the junk yard.

You guys are f**king hopeless I am glad you guys are so obliviously happy with watered down drinks and lackluster programming on HN

Be sure to go to In -n- Out when you go to California...they have the best burgers.

For all the complaining siriuslyfolks has about HN, Im finding out he actually listens to it more than I do...

Something doesn't add up here....

Now time for a nother great tune on Hair Nation and another In-and-Out Burger to go with it.

Actually, it's not that strange. If he's anything like me, he loves the 80's rock genre, so he keeps going over to HN hoping that he might hear a different song or some general improvements in the playlist. When that doesn't happen, he probably goes to another station for a while, only to go back to HN a little while later with the same hopes. That was me for about two years Unfortunately, I've given up hope at this point and find it much less frustrating by simply looking for HN improvements by looking at the song search website. If I see different songs being added in, then I'll tune back in.

I would have never made my previous post if you hadn't just questioned why somebody who complains about the station would still listen Just offering up a potential answer to your question based on personal experience.

Anyway, I'll keep my complaints or suggestions to the other threads where it's not out of character for the theme of the thread.

You guys enjoy!!
