Just a word of advice for you. As much as you like Hair Nation, flip around the stations and explore everything else that Sirius has to offer. You'll not only find other music to enjoy, but you'll also prevent yourself from burning out on Hair Nation. Sirius playlists can be pretty tight, so listening to one station continuously for many days in a row can get frustrating since you're bound to hear a bunch of repeats. But there's so much out there to enjoy that simply changing the station for a while will just increase your satisfaction with the service.

I'd definitely recommend giving Buzzsaw a try if you haven't already. They play the best "classic hard rock," which includes a bunh of the bands that you'll hear on Hair Nation. Classic Vinyl, Classic Rewind, and the Vault are some other favorites of mine if you like classic rock.

Again, welcome and enjoy the ride!!
Great advice!

I like to give Buzzsaw a try but getting away from this loud speaker thats playing Hair Nation is too hard to do...

Damn Kiss is on. got to go....
The amazing thing is that if and when I am ready to try a new channel, there is so many channels to choose from, Buzzsaw, 80's and maybe even hard attack!!!

Yeah and to think when I had XM and all they had was the Boneyard for main stream 80's rock and 3 other rock formats, they combined all 4 of these channel formats in one...hard to get use to that formula.

Clear, cut, and defined...

I'm getting distracted here... Now back to my Hair Nation.

Your going to need to talk louder.. I cant hear you right now. Its 6:38 am and STILL going at it.

I can't seem to figure out what the "fuss" is all about regarding this channel change lineup. Channel 23 is STILL there and jamming and for all I know is the only channel there is... Was there a change?

Ok, now back to listen.. GnR is starting...

This is the FIRST thing I noticed with Sirius. The Rock channels are so defined and well programmed to Sirius's prorammers expecially Hair Nation programmer.

I found my outside XM antenna works GREAT with my new car docking unit for the Sportser. I just needed to point the antenna straight up and bingo Sirius and Hair Nation is rocking now to Bon Jovi Let It Rock!! Got to love my Harmon Cardon and surround system pounding to Hair Nation...

Good thing closest neighboor is 1/2 mile away.

As a big 80's listener with Hair Nation, we listened to the 80's on 8 and found this station fantastic.

DTV ch 823 has a great 80's format, but Sirius even beats this one out. Last Sunday we listened to the 80's on 8 for 7 hours and enjoyed all the songs.

We like how Sirius displays the year of the song.

Last night I split my listening time between, Hair nation, 80's and Hard attack. Wow I cannot believe all the choices we have for music! And interestingly I still have not made it to the old time radio channel to hear my favorite comedian, Jack benny!

So true.. And to think that these channels EACH have a well defined, 80's format, that dont_blend_into_each_other. I am a bit impressed with the 80's decades. I have mentioned it before in a previous post.

Sirius is sooo black and white, hot and cold when it comes to the channels. I am stuck in the 80's and Sirius has all formats well covered.

lol about the Old Time Radio. Jack was on the other day but cought the tail end of the show. And yes its a pre-set on my sat radio. Looking forward to the holiday shows.
