I don't know about removing one. Personally, I hate Sirius Love, I like Starlight, and I LOVE Movin EZ.

I'm sure since I notice differences between the channels, and hate Sirius Love, someone else has opposite views and loves Sirius Love.

However, I think that Sirius Love should have been axed over FolkTown. If they ever remove The Bridge, Totally 70s, or Radio Margaritaville, I am back to being an exclusive XM subscriber instead of both.

I like the Coffee House channel thus far, and it will become one of my presets once I get out to my truck to set it.

I'm very pleased so far. It's already a preset.

Me too. Love it. It's the only one the wife likes so far too. I also like espresso so this is a perfect match!

I am so disappointed that there is no folk music to be found, now.

Hate to sound like a heretic, but when my subscription expires in December, I am jumping ship to the OTHER satellite folks.

By the way, I do dig the new SPA 73.

Default Coffee House

I've been listening for the last couple hours, and it's actually better than I expected. Good job!

However, I would still like to have Folk Town back. Couldn't they take Star Lite, Sirius Love, Movin Easy, and The Bridge, and pare those four down to two channels. They seem so similar. Then we can get Folk Town back as well as one more. A funk channel maybe?

This channel makes me want to boycott coffee. Did we really need a channel that consists purely of content from TheBridge, TheSpectrum, Chill, StandardTime, and PureJazz? Sirius added NOTHING by giving us this channel. What they DID do is TAKE AWAY content. And people are happy about it? :\

Rcole, you're not the only one. The XM equipment doesn't look too good currently, but it's sure to get better. I've started posting my opinion about it on xm411.com and some of the regulars agree with me on that.

Default Sucks BIG time

Acoustic ? Cha !! This is crap. More of the same old shuffle.

This is absolutly no replacement for Folk Town. I listened all day and heard a HAND FULL of acoustic, let alone folk !

CRAP.

I liked Floktown, but I think I see myself listening to this channel more than I ever listened to Folktown. It's too early to really get an accurate portrayal of the depth of the playlist, but at this point it looks very deep. I am loving this channel. It has taken my top preset.

Default A BAD COFFEEHOUSE ....

It's a bad location, a bad 'replacement' to FolkTown and I feel Sirius really dropped the ball here. It sucks, as I heard a group called "The Recliners' play the most sorry-assed version of The Ramones "I Wanna Be Sedated" - So sad to let // 38 go and be 'replaced' with this sorry ass excuse for a station. The Bridge is now on my presets where FolkTown used to be. I don't think this was Meg's decision, but Mel. One person's observation. Peace - JG

Dear Sirius,

On behalf of your listeners, and I think I can speak without hesitation for all 2.1 million of them, I'd like to offer up "Buzzsaw" as a sacrificial bandwidth lamb so that you can bring back "Folktown."

Not really...but damn. There are about 8 or 10 stations now playing variations of the same music. It's like six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but only with Classic Rewind instead. This station is like Classic Rewind, but it plays hard classic rock. That station is like Classic Rewind, but it plays mellow classic rock. This third station is like Classic Rewind, but it plays classic rock from 80's hair metal bands only. A fourth is like Classic Rewind, but it plays classic rock from singer-songwriters (sometimes).

See the difference? I knew you did.

I really disagree that it has a deep playlist. I heard David Gray multiple times (four or five, I think), Coldplay multiple times, and Alanis Morisette at least three times. Not to mention that all of these artists are played on all the other pop/rock channels many times every day. I only listened for about three hours, so I am betting there were many more repeats that I didn't hear.

I like the channel very much, but it's a crime that this is the replacement for Folktown. Why can't we have Coffee House and Folktown?!?!?

I mean we have all these channels, which to me seem very similar:

Buzzsaw
Octane
Faction
Hard Attack
Hair Nation

And we have to lose the unique Folktown?!?!!

I'm surprised they didn't add a couple more metal channels.
