This is my favorite new station they added. This station is number 1 on my preset now.

Well, I miss FolkTown....

I don't really see the need for both this channel and The Bridge. I'll listen some more as the day goes on, but right now I don't think this will please to many Folk music fans who were hoping that they might find a home here...

I don't see how you can compare the coffee house channel with the bridge. They have nothing at all in common.

So far this has been great, some songs you would hear on Chill, then some Van Morrison. I love acoustic music and I really think that this will end up being one of the more popular channels.

This could really end up being one of the best and most popular channels that Sirius has. Acoustic Music, some stuff off of Chill, throw in some Standard Time, and some Live Session stuff and you have a station that I could listen to for hours and hours.

Right now they are playing the chairman of the board, and you have to love that!

I like it from the brief first impression that I've had. I don't think it's like the Bridge at all. Now, I don't see the need for the Bridge and Starlight and Movin' Easy, but that's just me.

The sad, sad part is, Coffee House comes at the expense of folk music.

Well, both are in the Rock catagory. I guess I'm more upset at losing FolkTown more than anything else. I agree that Sirius needed a channel like this, but I guess I'm just clamoring for more bandwidth. It too damn frustrating to have to give up an entire genre of music just to add another.

The Starlight <-> Moving Easy thing is another story....

My first impression was pretty lackluster.

I tune to my old preset, Reggae, and I see Lyle Lovett, and i'm thinking... "Lyle Lovett, WTF?!" Then I notice that the banner reads "Coffee House". So, go figure... The world's greatest over-achiever, the former "Mr. Julia Roberts" singing about having a cactus stuck in his ass, and i'm wondering where the hell did they put my Raggae 30?!

Haven't had the chance to check out "the CoffeeHouse" much yet, but I'm definately going to later on today. (I've been checking out "SuperShuffle" and "Spa 73" first, and I LOVE both of those). But if they are playing Lyle Lovett, then that is a definate plus for me. I absolutely love Lyle Lovett's music. Overall, so far, I'm really impressed with the new channels, and I think Sirius has done a good job. I'll post again after I listen longer to "the CoffeeHouse" and get a better idea of how it sounds overall.

So far I think it's pretty good, although the description is misleading. The majority of what I've heard thus far HASN'T been acoustic. I mean, I like the music I've heard, and I will continue to check it out, but it's not quite what I expected.

I am enjoying what I've heard so far. I like the diversity of sounds with a consistent "feel." It seems they've done a good job.

It really seems that this and shuffle are different sides of the same coin, cross-genre musical samplers. Almost like muzak with real music. I think we'll hear a lot of both these streams at restaurants and the like who play sirius.

I like the channel, but I MISS FOLKTOWN!!!

I don't think this is an adequate replacement. I'm glad the coffeehouse is here, but it sucks that we had to lose the folk channel.

Eh, it's OK. However, it was billed as an alternative to Folktown, which is laughable since I have been listening on and off for two hours and it has yet to play any folk (oops, Greg Brown just came on - so one folk song in two hours). There is a lot of duplication with The Spectrum. Since Folktown was one of the top reasons I got Sirius, I'm not very happy with the replacement.
