Nope I figured that out long ago. I was hoping to spread the word some more and maybe expose their music to some other people.

\m/ Maiden Rules! \m/

I was listening to Iron Maiden when parents (and the PMRC {fuck you, Tipper Gore!}) were shitting bricks over their art work and lyrical content. I've seen Maiden 8 times in my life. I've been backstage to meet them twice, and I have pictures that i'll scan and share. Every one in the band are so genuinely nice, friendly, personable, and all those other modifiers that say "real people". Best Maiden concert of all-time was in 1992, Irvine Meadows, CA "Fear Of The Dark" Tour.

I was at that show and I still have the ticket stub to prove it. Is that when you worked for 105.5 Knac?

Hands down, "Iron Maiden can't be Beat!"
Is "Brian" any relation to Paul Di'Anno, the former lead singer of Iron Maiden

I love the Di'Anno era of Maiden... Murders in the Rue Morgue, Iron Maiden, Wrathchild, Running Free, Sanctuary, Charlotte the Harlot... all classics!!! The Bruce era has been pretty good too

What an awesome band!!
Ooops, my bad, it was Paul. Not sure who I was thinking about.

Did Maiden ever do a live albumn from their Wyldrock concert in the Netherlands? I downloaded a bootleg off the web and it totally kicks ass! Then again, Maiden always kicks ass!

They are hands down, a Metal God that should be bowed down to!

Did anyone ever purchase the 2 box set of Iron Maiden with the Game?

If so, what's the highest you have gotten in it? I got as far as the Stranger in a Strange land scene.

Another memorable show is when they welcomed the return of Adrian Smith and Janick Gers, together for first time, four guitarists, in Ed Hunter tour at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles 1999! The crowd went frikkin nuts!!!!

Most of the Rock fans here at SBS are pretty sophisticated listeners, and weren't born yesterday. I doubt you'll find any rock fans here who aren't familiar with IM.

You'd probably have better luck posting on a teenybopper or pre-teen website.

I caught Maiden in Dortmund, Germany in 1987 during a Monsters of Rock Concert - All day affair and totally hammered the whole time. Awesome experience.

Other bands that were there: Black Sabbath, Schenker, Scorpions (this was Germany in the 80s), Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot, I think Judas Priest ... ah almost 20 years ago and me mind is a little fuzzy.

I took my niece to that show. She's 14 and she's turned herself into quite the Maiden Fan. It was such a long, hot day. I was there to see Slipknot & Maiden. What a disappointment how it all turned out thanks to Sharon Osbourne. Have you seen this site?? http://www.fucksharon.com

My time with KNAC had ended, for I had graduated college and had to find a real job. But, the tickets and backstage passes were courtesy of KNAC. It always comes down to who you know.
