Default Gods Of Metal Sunday on Hard Attack?

I'm just wondering if anyone else is loving the Gods Of Metal Week as much as me. If so I think it would be bad ass if they had Gods of Metal Sunday every Sunday on Hard Attack so everyone can pay homage on the Sabbath! I think it could be the coolest thing on Hard Attack next to Bloody Roots or Halloween when they only play Grind, Death and Black metal!

Thoughts, Comments?

Excellent idea! I go to Church on Sunday though. The pew is solid wood with a brass kickstop.

I don't listen to Hard Attack very frequently since I primarily like 70's/80's metal, but this Gods of Metal week is absolutely awesome!!! I love hearing some of the deep tracks from these metal gods that we don't get to hear very often on the other stations. If they did this every Sunday, I'd definitely tune in!

Good idea bro! For us hardcore listeners that listen to one channel so much, any "speciality" shows thrown in the mix will only help break up the heavy rotation tunes. Remember when Slipknot's Volume 3 first came out, we heard those clowns it seemed like every hour!!! They practically played each track off the whole album over the months!!!

I tried to leave a message on the bloodline telling Jose about this idea we hatched up, but it cut me off before I could get my point across. Maybe I'll e-mail him this thread.

Gods of metal is as cool a show idea as Head Bangers Ball was on MTV back in the Hair Day.

Dude, I heard Mario play your Request for Metalica's "So What" last night. Interesting tune in mixed company!

I would love an hour or two of this but wouldn't it conflict with Bloody Roots to a certain degree?

while i enjoyed this Metal Gods week, i thought it got a little annoying how all they were playing was Sabbath, Maiden, Priest, Motorhead, Pantera, etc.... and also, nothing against Fear Factory or Machine Head, but i dont see how they're 'metal gods', and ummmm, since when are Korn and Slipknot 'metal gods'?????

this was still awesome, and yes, I think they should make a special program to play the Metal Gods

I for one can't stand Korn and not sure why they are considered a Metal God.

Was Nothingface considered or even played at all? Unless I am mistaken but didn't they start the whole harmonizing and Cookiemonster lyrical composition? So many bands do this now. If they were the first, then by rights they should be a metal god because I think Tom Rock said last week that Pantera is metal god because so many other bands have copied their style.

I wound up going to a comedy club on Sat night and missed my request Those lyrics are so vulgar, they're funny! It was also proof that uncensored music is still alive and well on at least some of the Sirius stations.

I'll have to check out Bloody Roots more often if they play the "Metal Gods" style of metal.

Dont think he ment bloody roots plays that stuff.. it is more of a random thing.. He plays a style or band or group of bands... more of a history lesson than metal gods.

Bey, im glad u dislike Korn as much as me... pretty much the instigators of all nu-metal/rap-metal garbage

i dont think Nothingface were played at all.. that's one nu-metal band I actually don't mind.. not crazy about em, but they're definitley better than some other crap of the like... I love their one song, "Ether"
