Love/Hate!! Why do you think they call it dope whoa-oh!
And, for more disturbing Love/Hate lyrics...

My ass hurts from getting kicked all day by Buzzsaw. I give them the edge over Hair Nation for two reasons:

1. Rush
2. No (or at least a lot less) power ballads

It looks like Buzzsaw may be the winner here.

I agree knac's-pirate... Both are great but different channels that makes Sirius good. Not sure if you can poll one against the other because of the two different formats.

But this is why I am now a Sirius listener. Great Rock choices!!

Default WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Vote for the 'Saw or be cut!

Seriously, Hair Nation is a neat concept but (IMO) limiting it to the particular subgenre and then not diving to deep into it makes HN inferior to Buzzsaw. I also think very highly of contributions from Long Paul and particulalry Keith Roth. Plus with Buzzsaw you get (for no additional cost):

* all the early "metal gods" from England and the USA
* Led Zeppelin (now there's a candidate for having it's OWN station!)
* the whole New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWBHM, ewrrr newham): Priest, Maiden, freaking Rainbow (awesome with Ronnie Dio AND Joe Lynn Turner) that stylistically influenced most of the hair bands
* a lot of the A list Hair Nation players
* a lot more blues based stuff from Jimi to SRV (and the usually lamented George Thorogood)

And this is why Sirius KICKS ASS in the rock department. Specific rock formats. Hair Nation with deeper cuts would cut into the Buzz to much and sound like a mixed bag of rocks in a bag, ie Boneyard.. And we dont want that... Not inferior if that is what one wants and Hair Nation is delivering exactly what I want.

So the main stream rock hits on Hair Nation, the Buzz with deeper cuts plus a bit broader rock format is sooooo awesome with both channels and the reason why I dumped Xm and got Sirius..

Rock on.

I've been checking the playlists since I saw this vote. And what I've noticed is that not very many Hair Nation choices ever gets played on Buzzsaw. Skid Row doesn't show up at all on Buzzsaw in October. It really surprised me. I didn't think that Sirius would be that careful in their programming.

This is what I said before about Sirius being a geneous when HAND PICKING their music that FITS that channels format.

They are very careful. Unlike XM who just throws a thousand or so songs into a mixed bag of rocks and calls it the Boneyard and sets it on shuffle.

It drove me nuts hearing all the incompatible music on their channels.
