Sonic Youth/Cult definitely. The Chuch? Maybe now but back in their day that had a world wide chart that was unstoppable. Just saw them recently, still kickin ass and looking good.

Ian Astbury of the Cult has been singing for the new Doors group.

As for Midnight Oil, I have had "Blue Sky Mine" on my memo since the first time I heard it on Sirius. What a great song.

What??????? Don't get me wrong. I love Anthrax. Caught in a Mosh is an all-time classic thrasher, but even THEY recently said ( on a Sirius interview ) that they weren't technically proficient back in the day.

One of the best live bands you'll ever see. I am admittedly a huge fan, and have seen them 30+ times over the last 15 years, and will be seeing them back to back nights next weekend here in NorCal. If you've never checked out KX before, don't miss out on their current tour, or their new album Ogre Tones.

Oh, btw....hi

I saw their concert tour when that "Hey baby we are nothing but mammals, so let do it like they do on the discovery channel" song was out. I was not only disapointed I was in shock. After seeing 4 eager fans get on stage to see who could pee their pants in front of everyone first taking up like 20 minutes between songs, I decided the shitty bar around the corner full of fat ugly chicks was more fun.

Listen to Persistence of Time and Sound of White Noise

They were 10 years ahead of the rest.
Black Lodge is insane!

I noticed your Extreme banner (Another Great Band)
I listened to them long before "More than Words"

Hey Kid Ego etc.

Dream Theater is the most talented rock band ever, period.

And here's a "me too" for Stabbing Westward! Those guys were awesome. Looking forward to The Dreaming's first CD...

ditto.

What great songs they had.

and on the same note, Tommy Stinson had the probably the most underrated album, 2004's Village Gorilla Head - it's a shame 'cuz the whole thing is AWESOME.
