Husker Du/Bob Mould. Bob Mould's Workbook is one of the best CDs of all time, in my opinion.

Sonic Youth gets credit, but probably not enough.

Black Lable Society.

In the year that I've had Sirius, I've only heard BLS played 3 times.

Anyone know if it's true that Zakk Wylde is no longer with Ozzy?

BLS is played a lot on Hard Attack.

Octane seems to only play them when they have a new single out. They've totally ignored "In This River" though... I realize it is a ballad, but it's an amazing song.

Paw

They released three albums between 1993 and 2000, but didn't get much attention. They were supposed to be the next "Nirvana", even though they had a style of their own.

Now, if I could only get Sirius to play some of their songs...

Rush has influenced so many bands but they themselves are way underrated.

There are several under rated bands. But one that comes to mind is Trapeze.

How about The Wonder Stuff....great sound.
HELL YES!! I loved The Wonder Stuff in the early 90's and saw them twice once opening for The Mission UK and once for Siouxsie and the Banshees.

Another band I love whichdoesn't seem to get much love in the US is Sisters of Mercy. They were amazing, I'm just bummed I never got to see them live. I had tickets to see them on the Tune In, Turn On and Burn Out tour (it was SoM along with Public Enemy, Gang of Four and Warrior Soul) but the show was cancelled.

Gotta go with King's X.

I've been a huge fan of these guys for about 20 years. If you haven't heard them, check out "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska" as your first disc.

Helluva live show as well.

Buzzcocks
The Damned
Agent Orange
Angry Samoans
XTC
The Jam
The Wipers (Youth of America is the greatest rock slab on all-time)
The Residents
Frank Zappa (with and without the Mothers of Invention)
Captain Beefheart

I don't think i'd consider The Kinks under-rated or under-appreciated. I always liked them. My favorite song of their's is "Destroyer", and that whole album, for that matter, "Give The People What They Want" is their best (IMO). Buzzsaw plays that song at least once every other day.
I prefer Lola versus Powerman and the Moneygoround.

I think Triumph is an underrated band, especially Rik Emmett...
