I can't listen to Mawky because he's either too stupid or too lazy to update the PDT with the song titles. Why is he the only one on Sirius to not (be able to) do this? I listen on my S50 and it's a pain to FF through songs I don't like and it's frustrating not being able to save the ones I do.

Well, listen at you. You have only two posts in this forum, so it isn't like we SHOULD know about your show.

Yeah, really. Perhaps it is cosmicommander who is fucked for not bothering to promote his own show in here once in a while.

This thread does point out the problem with punk on Sirius -- I have to go hunting all aver the damn place to find any of it. LOC for your show, Faction for Marky Ramone - which is also on Sirius Disorder. Between all 3 channels, we get a smattering of tunes hardly worth the effort to find it.

Anyhow, I'm usually listening to Jen on HA on Sunday nights, but I'll tear myself away and give your show a shot.

No shit. First time I heard of it and we are all fucked up for not paying attention to this one show out of HUNDREDS? Shit people who want Punk aren't typically going to go hang out on Left of Center with it's wwwwahh I hate meat music. (yeah I listen to LOC a lot) But hey the tag line for the show sounds cool and if you are a punk bitcher on Sirius you should know about the show I guess. But siriusly, that picture on the show promo doesn't say punk. It says, I want to be a George Clinton.

Thing is, I have seen that picture and not even read the show summary so many times, just because the picture sucks so bad. What is it supposed to be? Cosmic Commander, you might as well just go ahead and quit your job, nobody seems to be interested in your show anyway .

True, that picture doesn't say PUNK! It say, kick my ass. I think he's trying to go for some space man cool look. Like some tripping garage rock. Which he does play it looks like. Seriously though if he plays good music changes are he was just stoned when he posted.

Hahah - I actually listened last night and have to say that I was disappointed. I wouldn't classify this as any meaningful dose of punk rock at all. Sure I heard some punk, but I also heard a lot of free-form stuff that strikes me as more appropriate for Sirius Disorder. You played The Kinks, for crying out loud. (And yes, I like the Kinks. I saw the Kinks play Cobo Arena in Detroit when I was in high school. I have owned Kinks records)

Trying to sell this show as covering any punk gap is really disingenuous, cosmicommander, since I had to sit through a lot of stuff that doesn't classify as punk in any way. But that being said, it's all good - good luck to you and your show - it's just not my cup of tea.

You have quite the vocabulary, kid. If you don't care, why do you keep showing up on our website? And why are you up at 2:26 AM replying to our posts? Don't worry, I will report you to Sirius.com, and we will see who the f*** wits are, whatever that means.

Heh - guess he told us. He's just too punk for us! I mean, really, upon reflection, what could be *more* punk than playing The Kinks???

Anyhow, I listened for over an hour, and as I said, not my cup of tea. But thanks for the insults anyhow. You keep ragin' against the machine, there, Mr. Myspace.

Specialty shows are one thing, and I like Marky Ramone's show even though it seems somewhat out of place on Sirius Disorder. But even Stern is on 24/7, and who wants to mark their calendar and make a special effort just to find their favorite music? I tried the XM free 3-day trial and with all the channels on Sirius, I think it's ridiculous that I'm actually considering shelling out another $13 a month so I can listen to XM's Fungus channel which does a decent job of playing old and new punk--all the time. Lets face it, the chance of Sirius adding a punk-only channel is about as likely as hearing Crass on First Wave.
