Default I dare Sirius Radio and Hair Nation

to give me a 2 hour show 4 times a month........
a show where I pick the songs and bands I play.

i'll be the most popular and entertaining DJ on the station without even trying.

there will be interviews with bands, discussions with callers, and all sorts of
fun will be had.

I'll even do it for free for the first 3 months.........

after that you can fire some of the deadweight and pay me what I deserve.

ok then........I triple dog dare all current Hair Nation DJ's to stop sucking.

I triple dog dare you to make an effort to be entertaining and creative.

I triple dog dare you to interview bands, have contests, share information,
have discusssions with listeners.......

I triple dog dare to you to act like you give a crap and put some actual effort into the station.

Note to DJ's

saying the name of the next song and giving a station ID is not being creative and entertaining.......and requires zero effort.

Just to make that clear.

Thanks.

What's the problem Dog? Clear Channel just fire you and you're finding it hard to get another gig?

DUDE chill... Your making an ASS of yourself.. Here,,, pull up a chair and let me explain.

(you say to interview bands)HN just had Skid Row on a month ago and I must say the interview ROCKED... On 12/12 they will have Twisted Sister.. More on this..

(You say to have contest) RIGHT NOW HN has a contest for you to see Twisted Sister in L.A

On 12/12 HN will have Twisted Sister on and spin a bunch of hair metal Christmas tunes from their new CD A Twisted Christmas.

HN has a special show each day at 5PM called Guitar Gods..

WHAT THE HELL are you talking about!!!!

Also being entertaining and creative is ones opinion. HN DJ's are pithy with their comments and its all about the music and bands. What the hell else do you need. Ok so Tawn does enjoy spewing her wacky political punches every so often, but its right back to the music..

Do you not listen to Hair Nation? are you a troll? an EX C.C. DJ?

Oh and by the way... Merry Christmas

I agree....I would love to hear Tuff or even some lesser known songs. Here are songs I have requested, but have never heard:
1) "Hang On St. Christopher" by Bulletboys
2) "American Hairband" by Tuff
3) "Bad Tattoo" by Warrant
4) "Screw It" by Danger Danger

The list goes on and on....

As far as song intros goes:
The typical song introductions for any hour could be:

"This is Hair Nation 23, coming up this hour, we have Aerosmith, some Scorpions, Bon Jovi and Def Leppard. Don't go anywhere"

No matter what time of the day, that would be an accurate preview.

Long 'Freakin' Paul, straight class act. Him and KNAC.com got me addicted to metal back about 6 years ago.

Rock on.

I think hair nations could use some band take overs like hard attack. Last night El Nino rocked and I love it when the bands take over and play ANYTHING, yes ANYTHING they want. The other week... man what band was that I was drunk... they played Elvis. Imagine hearing ELVIS on HARDATTACK!

lol. Too bad my brain cells were erased that night.

You must remember, you will not be able to please everybody no matter what you play. Example, if you play Tuff's "American Hair band", you will get somebody that will not like the tune.
Sirius channels are split so you know what you will get when you listen. It's kinda like going into In n out burger and bitching because they don't sell hotdogs. Hotdogs are great! But they don't sell them at In n out, only juicy double double's.
The only thing I would like to see added to HN is the old Metal shop shows. That would be great!

Proof that you can't please everyone, if the proposals at the start of this thread were put into place, I'd stop listening to Hair Nation. I hate interviews and artists take-overs and change the channel when they air. Besides, I like the way Tawn and Kim do their shows.

Yup. I want the subscription iPod with the changing play lists. A Sirius subsription is far cheaper than an iPod, though.

Wow dude. I doubt it's Long Paul's fault so get off his dick. But, it is true that the playlists are stale and suck on HN. So sick of the same hits over and over. I listened to KNAC back in the day, and still, online today, and Long Paul knows his shit. It ain't him. It's above his head. All the DJs heads. It's the corporate cocksuckers.
