Out in USA now and doing quite well in the Amazon charts - topped out at #6!! Is #9 as I type...

Has anyone actually *heard* it on Sirius at all yet? Should we all go on the offensive and lobby Octane??

I am loving the latest Porcupine Tree album. Anyone hear it on the radio yet?

I haven't heard it on Sirius at all. I've heard the entire album on my CD Player or IPod about 60 times. It's great & getting better. I have to force myself to listen to something else.

I just bought from ITunes Salem Hill's - Be (My first of their albums), last night.

At your recommendation!

Almost done my first listen..... So far... very good.

Well... It's a bit of a hassle for me to get into Manhattan, but I bought a ticket for this Saturday's Porcupine Tree Concert at the Nokia Theater in Midtown.

I kinda can't wait.

Add me to the list... one of the things I loved on XM (I'm a dual sub) was Music Lab. Granted, I can listen online at work, but that doesn't help in the car.

The least they could do is move Progressions up to a time that people on the East Coast actually have a chance to hear it.

My favorite album of theirs is Catatonia. The latest album is good as well. I got a copy before it came out, as a test listener. I purchased it as soon as it was available.

I bought Mimi's Magic Moment as well. Thanks for the recommendation.

I suppose I'll have to check out Catatonia as well now, eh?

Went to see Porcupine Tree in NY last night. The first time I've been able to get to see them.

Wow.

Just wow. There was even a really wild good opening act (the band 3).

An amazing show. I just don't understand why everyone doesn't love PT. They deserve more fans.... Although the Nokia was jammed packed. It was General Admission, I got there as the doors opened and got a spot at the barrier to the stage. Planted myself there and didn't move all night.

If you have a chance to see this band, do not pass up the chance.

I agree, they are an awesome band to see live.

I saw them back in October. Easily one of my top 5 concerts I've been to.

Had a couple of rental cars with XM a year or so back. Music Lab was the only station I would listen to. It wasn't perfect, but they played more current prog than any medium other than the web. As for Progressions, it's OK at best. One hour is not enough, and although I appreciate all the great prog from the 60s and 70s, there is a whole new world out there waiting to be discovered. I'd love to have prog evenings, 6pm to Midnight, with a mix of old and new. Better yet, an entire channel! Gee, what a concept!

So how is Mimi's Magic Moment??? I've been scoping out this CD and downloaded a couple samples. I'm always a bit gun-shy about purchasing based on a couple of samples. It's not unlike going to a movie because you liked the clips you saw on TV. Usually the best part is in fact the trailer and the movie as a whole is only so-so.

Is this CD a good one throughout??? What little I have heard of Salem Hill I really like. If I'm not mistaken, they hail from Chattanooga, just like Glass Hammer. Must be something in the water there that promotes an appreciation for Progressive Rock.

I like it. I've listened to it about 5 times. Liked it more with each listen.

Just 4 little ole songs. Well, I guess you couldn't really call them little. Heh.
