"It's Alive!" by The Ramones. Recorded at their peak in 1977 and released domestically in 1979, this album is a must-have for any rock music fan. Their best songs from their best albums (the first three) performed with perfection at lightning speed. Even if you've never been a big Ramones fan check out this double album/CD to see what all the fuss was about. 28 masterpieces in about 45 minutes, and yes it sounds as fresh today as it did 30 years ago.

EDIT: Oops forgot the other 4, too much Carbona I guess. The Nirvana Unplugged disc is up there; that's all I can think of this second. Bye for now.

I might have eclectic taste ...

Lynyrd Skynyrd - One More from the Road
The Band - The Last Waltz
Johnny Cash - Live at Folsom Prison
Cheap Trick - Live at Budokan
Nirvana - Unplugged in New York

Honourable mention: Live Cream, Vol.1; Rust Never Sleeps - Neil Young & Crazy Horse; Live Bullet - Bob Seger; It's Alive - The Ramones

No order here either:

Kiss alive I & II- I can't pick between the two, but don't want to waste a choice.

Aerosmith Live bootleg- Not taken from just one performance, but i love the rawness of the performances.

Ted Nugent Double live gonzo- just some great guitar playing

Foghat Road cases- Killer slide guitar playing

REO speedwagon Live:you get what you play for- before they became a pop band

This is more like it. KISS? Are you serious? They are one of the worst thing to ever happen to music. I'd go see the man who met Andy Griffith before I went to that nightmare.
