Default Just a Quick thanks

I just wanted to make a quick post to thank the Sirius Backstage people for making a great resource for us S50 owners.

I especially want to thank you guys for making an s50 forum. I think its proving itself valuable.

Like everyone else I am having problems with the unit but once they fix the back to back recording issue I will be satisfied. I tried to record stern in the morning and the unit locked itself up. I think the thing is overheating when left on for extended periods.

Anyway, I then recorded the replay with 5 minute spaces in the recording times and it worked fine.

One weird thing, when the unit froze I had to remove the battery and I lost all of my recorded shows but not the MySirius channels. Is this normal?

Thanks for all the help.

Wow, I've just finished my second day of back-to-back (NO gap) recordings in the home dock with ZERO problems. I think the answer is leaving the radio on all the time. Mine has been on for several days straight and - while it does get just a tad warm to the touch- it is by no means overheating.

OMFG!! I've had plenty of no trouble recordings for the last 1 1/2 weeks by leaving the unit on all night, as have many others. Maybe if some people had been less eager to jump all over us for reporting we used this method with no problems, they would have been in the same boat.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
