Default Help! Can't eject / disconnect S50!

Help! I need suggestions....

I connected my S50 and launched MSS hoping that if I left it connected for a while my channel logos would update.

After about an hour, I selected to eject the device. The "eject" window briefly appeared, I saw the ejecting progress bar start to fill up, then a message appeared that said I could not eject the device now.

I then noticed that the MSS image of the S50 disappeared. NOW there is no option to disconnect even theough the S50 reads "DO NOT DISCONNECT".

I tried the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon that still appears in my Windows taskbar. When I select the S50, a Stop a Hardware device window appears. There are three selections on this window:

Sirius Satellite Radio S50
Generic Volume - (F
Sirius S50 USB device

If I select any of these, Windows produces a "Problem Ejecting Sirius Satellite Radio S50 window that reads "The device 'Generic volume' cannot be stopped right now. Try stopping the device again later."

I've tried this for about an hour now, same message. Should I just unplug the S50? I don't think I have any other choice, do I?

I'd shut down rather than disconnect.

OK. I shut down the PC and going by the screen on the S50, it looked like it disconnected.

I started MSS and tried the process again (connecting, then ejecting). This time a message appeared that said the S50 was being updated. I gave it a few mins, tried again, and it ejected normally.

Still have the old channel logos though. Channel 133 (CNN Headline News) still has the old FOX News logo.

That sucks. When I got the "cannot disconnect updating..." thing my channels got updated.
