Default Create Sirius S50 Image? Could not verify WMDM device as...

...a Sirius S50. Would you like to create the Sirius S50 image on this device?

=-=-=-=-=-

THis is the pop-up I recieve when trying to connect my S50 to my Sony Vaio PC. This is the first time I have seen this - and had last attached to PC to upgrade the software and firmware as per Sirius support site (SW Ver: 1.3.15 is currently running on the S50 device). The upgrade instructions effectively enabled me to upgrade the device, my car kit and the home kit. Everything worked great until first I could not store any additional content and then the S50 locked up today and I could not get to the channel screen. So I thought I would hook up to PC and see if there was a way to troubleshoot - or perhaps another upgrade. That is when I got the error - and the device is not recognized by the computer.

When I select Yes - nothing happens (I have left it for at least 2 hours).

Can someone advise how to recreate the Sirius S50 image on my device using a PC?

I noticed that I have filled the free space to 100% capacity - but I am not able to delete any content. This might be part of what is causing the problem. Can someone advise me how to delete content on the S50? When I navigate on the device it tells me I have no mp3, no sirius song and no sirius shows. This cannot be the case as I have saved many songs and scheduled and saved many broadcasts - as well as storing my own content on the device. Despite this fact - the device tells me it is 100% full but there is not content to delete.

=-=-=-=-=

UPDATE - The 3-finger salute fixed this issue. Only drawback is I lost all my saved content.

Thanks,
Scott

The only other thing I might of tried, was use the 3 finger, but just let go of the buttons during the first choice to upgrade firmware only. This would of allowed you to re-refresh the firmware without loosing the content. If that would not of worked, I would of gone ahead and done what you probably did and reformat the flash memory.

Glad things are working for you.
