Default Quick question about S50 settings

I'm sorry If I'm reposting someone else's question, I haven't been to the board in over a month already. I am just wondering, is there any way to make it so the s50 DOES NOT automatically shut off when I pause a recorded program I am listening to? I hate it when that happens and then I have to go thorugh fast forwarding to where I was when I paused, Thanks

Yes, and when combined with the poor battery life makes for some challenging listening sometimes. 50 hrs of content vs. 4 hours of battery life

Yeah, I hate this "feature", too. What I do when I need to pause for longer than a minute ((take a phone call, talk to wife, etc.)) is press the volume key each time after the display goes dark (set for 15 secs on mine) while on pause to reset the shutoff timer. When I'm plugged in via the USB/AC adapter this doesn't happen so I can actually walk away while it's paused.
