Angry Getting Nowhere With Nothing to Show

It's been 4 months with no replacement. I have called 5 times now and everytime they tell me that a replacement will be sent out in 7 to 10 business days. I am always put on some list. The runaround is getting old.

I hear of those who get a new receiver replacement. I hear of those who get an exchange for the S50 with a Steletto. I want to know how long they waited to get a replacement. Did they have to wait 4 months, or more? Why can't I get a simple replacement for the car dock which was the problem to begin with?

If you read this message and still not received your replacement part, I would like to talk to you. I am trying to get a list of people waiting for longer than a couple of months so that I can submit it for legal actions. This is going too far. I love my Sirius radio, but I have spent too much money to be put on permanent hold. It is my money they are playing with and I don't like it when I get taken to the cleaners.

I am planning to file a suit against Sirius if I don't get my radio by the end of November and if there is anyone interested in doing the same, please let me know and we can share the burden on the legal front.

Unhappy Update on last call

Hello, I just called in to the warranty department to ask about my warranty claim which was submitted a couple of months ago. After waiting on hold 25 mins they told me that they are no longer going to ship me a replacement unit. Apparently they have changed their return policy and you now need to submit your credit card information prior to receiving a replacement. This information should have been sent to people with outstanding warranty claims. They will automatically bill you if they have not received back your original unit within 30 days of them shipping you out the replacement unit. However, they will not notify you when they ship it out and do not guarantee when you will receive it.... it is estimated to be 7-11 business days. I have read from others that it is not possible to obtain a tracking ID easily. This is a sad display of customer service. I have been waiting patiently until now and this has truly disappointed me. Please note that I do love the sirius programming and radio service, but, I have never been treated this poorly in a warranty situation before.

Had enough with the Sirius claim. Will be calling tonight to cancel it!

I was blessed with a wonderful man at CC here in MASS that took my dead S50 back in exchange for the stiletto!


He was awesome. Damn do I love the New England people!

Droobies from the NE too.

Anyway, I DID NOT have the extended warentee, purchased it back in Nov (25th) of last year in FLA. Exchanged it here at a nearby CC.

I know BB would never do that here, this is why all of my business will be done at CC here in MASS.

I had lunch after the exchange and bought a Gift Card to a local restaurant for what he did as I handed it to him he looked quite surprised.

In this world, look to Bless others instead of yourself...many returns will come to you!

P.S. Please do not ask who and where, I will not give that information out. If you do some homework, and be nice to people you never know what will happen. Off to the Stiletto forum. Thanks for everything S50 people, you were a Blessing that's for sure!

Here's an update- 2 weeks later and no replacement unit. Oh what a surprise. I called and was told that the person who told me the s50 is being shipped to me w/in 7-10 days could not have possibly done that because the units weren't physically available til LAST WEEK!. WTF??? This company has a great product and they are RUINING it with crappy service.

Get this!..... I was told my name is going to be added to a (magical) spreadsheet and given to his manager to send to the shipping department. So it will be another 7-10 days. (B u l l S _ _ _!!!). I confirmed that had I not called I probably would not have gotten my replacement unit. (Nooooo Kidding!!)

I've seen it posted in this forum before and it continues to be true- DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL MAKE STUFF UP TO GET YOU OFF THE PHONE. !!!! This is the kind of behavior that will be rewarded with lots of lawsuits and investigation by the FTC (Federal Trade Commision)

Today I called to verify my name was put on the "magical" spreadsheet- yup... The person I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about. The rep put me on hold for 5 minutes and then came back to explain she went to look for a team leader but could not find one( ) What a ridiculous thing to say. After explaining my frustration she told me she was going to send an e-mail to a team leader about my issue- I asked her to CC me but I was told they can only send internal messages. I asked to speak with the manager- she actually said that she does not have one. She has three and she has no idea who she reports to... she did offer to transfer me to the manager but as she explained, she was actually transferring me to a group voice mail for managers. she could not give me a name of whom I would want to speak with. So I left a message begging to be treated fairly.

Look. This is an absurdly ridiculous way to do business. This "lack-of" service company needs to be terminated for their abysmal track record. !!

I did the same about 10 days ago. CC # etc., got a confirmation #. Assuming it's coming soon.

Default The Runaround!

I called today to find out where my S50 was. I placed the claim on 11/8 and they said it would ship in 48 hours. Today when I called , Marsha told me that they just got information that the warehouse had S50's but they are going to start fulfilling claims from April. She said there was no way in predicting when I would get one. Marsha said they will probably run out before they get caught up. She said with Christamas, they would be selling more. I told her to make a note that Sirius should make sure they take care of the poeple that currently pay the bills. I told her I would pay the difference for a Stilletto 100 but she said she could not authorize it. I then called Customer Service and they said only warranty could make that decision. Called back to Warranty and was told only Cust. Svc. could do that. Called back to Cust. Svc. and explained situation, I was told "Sorry sir but they are wrong, I know it is frustrating but we do not have good communication b/w departments" REALLY, I would never had guessed!!!

I just got my S50. Did not even know it was coming. I called Thursday and they said no clue when it would ship out. Got claim number on 8th. Not to bad of a turn around.

same with me.. I got off the phone with them on sat nov 18th and they said they had no clue when it would be shipped out.. and they said they were putting it on 2nd day air starting monday the 20th... well I got home today, on teh 20th and there it was.. a refurbished s-50.... I just hope it doesn't have teh problems the old one did..

I always found refurbished items to work well, after all someone took the time to go over it and fix the problem. Do they look new? I mean the screen is clear and unscratched?

Called warranty number 866-257-7726, gave them my old claim number, from August!, gave them my credit card #, wait 7-10 days, and I should have a new POS s-50..,so I can send my old POS s-50 back to them

No deal on a possible exchange for a Stiletto.

I bought a Starmate when the s-50 went, it works great.
I think I'm going to leave the new S-50 in the box.
It will make a great X-Mas gift. (to someone I hate)
