Default So go executive dock or home dock?

I guess it's a matter of preference. Both are the same price.

I guess the executive is ncie since you can bring it to different locations without a hassle.

Hmmm. Got me thinking.

I have both and I love the executive dock. I'm just pissed that BB is selling them for $99 now, I paid $200 in July.

how are they the same price?? I just paid $69 for the home dock. The exec system is still listed around $200.00. How do you figure?

My Vote was the Home Dock

Back last April the executive showed up at Best Buy I got one and did a few posts about it. The bottom line was I returned it because of some issues or rather preferences I preferred.

I believe they were as follows:

1. Volume would not remember where it was last set. When you turned it on it would be very loud.

2. Lack of USB port. I tend to download podcasts daily to the unit to listen at the gym. I need to hook up the radio to the computer and without the usb it was inconvenient to remove and then go back and listen again.

3. Size - It was too big for my nightstand.

Here are some of my memorable posts:

I Said Goodbye to Mr Executive

I know when I bought it I paid list price. At $99.00 now, It still has its limitations to what I wanted. I still think the best setup would be to use powered PC speakers and the Home Kit. It sounds good and is portable at the same time.

Yep, I'd have to agree with me_rubin. I picked up the exec system for 79 clearance open box at bestbuy. Not real impressed, in fact down right disappointed. You are better off with a home dock any day.

Yep. Home stereo setup here. 4 big speakers and an old Kenwood.
I say go car dock. But that's just me.
I have 2 50's and I hot swap them to the car and back to listen to recorded content when I'm driving.
Works with my am/fm radios throughout the house, in the garage and down the block.
