I don't think SIRIUS will dumb down a newly released S50. Lets not forget SIRIUS paid RIAA or I should say the Record Labels to be able to produce a certain number of S50's as they are NOW. I don't think they are even close to that number yet. So there would be no need for them to dumb them down as the RIAA already approved them with the royalty payment that was made.

I would just like to see them at least do an update to offer the bookmarking.

To be honest I wonder how many people really ever "LOVED" songs from the recorded content vs directly when listening live. I would venture to say its not as many as we may think. I don't personally see this as an issue for the Stiletto as I've never had a problem getting the songs I wanted.

The S50 is a good device and I think at a lower price, they may actually sell more of them.

An s50 MICRO that's stable would sell CRAZY IMO.

That's how I've loved most of my songs. i rarely listen to music "live", so I either go thru MyChannels and love songs (IF I can get it to record some channels, that is) or I leave it on a music channel and when i come back to the unit, I'll rewind to the start of the buffer and see what songs i choose to love. Most of the time on the dock, I'm listening to 100, 101 or 104, or my Loved songs. My attention span is bad plus I get disinterested in songs real quick when I have the controller in my hand.

Anyway, as the device stands now, it's very functional for me. The things i would like to see addressed would be:

bookmarking or auto-resuming. Doesn't have to be fancy, just start up where I left off.

Hot UNDOCKING - I'd like to be able to pull it off and go without it shutting down and having to start fresh. it works fine to dock it hot, give us the other way too.

Extended life battery - there's gotta be room for a better battery or a spare with charger

Play recorded content while recording live content - I saw my first unit record MyChannels content while i was listening to recorded content, so I know the functionality should be there. Of course it was sporadic and I think caused some of the lockups...

Allow some choice over MyChannels

make separate lists for Sports Ticker and Game Alert Favorite Teams - I like to see the scores of all the games but don't want 2 game alerts for every game being played.

That's my method, too. I keep it on the dock at home, and use the fast forward button to skip through songs on mychannels, loving the ones with the artists I like. Nearly all my saved music comes this way. The only thing I don't like is the fade-out at the end of a song that sometimes can be a spoiler.

I agree with the wish list you've given, and I hope Santa's S50 elves will get to work on these feature requests. We've been very good!
