Default Has anyone ACTUALLY received the replacements?

I have been told that mine was shipped on Thursady of last week, although they could not give me a tracking number. I just don't trust this company and I was wondering if anyone has received a replacement yet. I was also wondering if we can use our existing docks with the new units, as our existing docks have more powerfull fm transmitters.

I received my replacement unit via UPS 2nd Day Air last Thursday. So far, everything is working fine. I would expect that everyone should be getting their warranty replacements soon.

Default Replacements are weaker?

Why are the FM transmitters weaker? With my old unit, I'd have the car dock in my bedroom and could pick up the signal pretty much all over the house and even in my car for a short distance from the house. Does this mean I need to buy some other equipment to blast it throughout my house now?

Thumbs down Received replacement FM weaker

I received my replacement yesterday. So far I have noticed that 87.9 is no longer available ( I used to play on that frequency) and the signal is much weaker. I am not happy. Even in my car I hear static.

Absolutely! There are several threads running right now talking about the replacements and the FM transmitter. Here is one you can check. I posted a few comments about both here. http://www.siriusbackstage.com/forum...t=90144&page=4. My replacement player and dock (with FM plug removed) are working better than my old unit ever did. I was told that I didn't have a tracking number but that it had been sent to the warehouse. A few days later, a box arrived at my door.

I got mine on Friday, took my dogs out for a walk and it was at my door when I got back. It was about 10 days, I packed up my old S50 and sent everything back today. I kept all my old accessories and sent the new ones back. I did see the new dock's plug. Funny thing is the S50 they sent me looked brand new.
Oh and so far it's been great having it working again....I was told when I called to activate my new unit that I would not be charged for transferring the subscription and it wouldnt count as one of the 3 times

So far mine has worked great I kept my old dock so that I wouldn't have the FM issue.

Default Got mine on Tuesday!!!

Got mine on Tuesday. Was never sent a tracking number after claim was filed, so I thought I'd have to call and find out what's up. According to the calendar, the unit arrived on the 10th day.

Swapped out the unit (of course) and the car dock. The knob on my car doc never really worked anyway. New one works great!! Removed the FM plug from the back, and unit works fine over my radio. Also, swapped out the remote as the ink on some of the buttons have faded.

Those were really the only parts I needed, so I packed up the box and just sent it back. I'm so happy to have Sirius in my car again!!

Oh, and I got a 1-month credit on my account from CS for the "delay" in shipping (from the time I filed the claim, until the unit arrived). However, be sure to ask about this, as they didn't bring it up in the call when I activated the new unit.
