My first unit died on me, and I received a replacement a few months ago. It worked fine, until a small problem that I've recently encountered (sounds cuts out for a split second every minute or 2 - fucking annoying). Beyond that, my replacement has worked longer than the original unit did.

I recieved my replacement back in May, no problems here. It was shipped with 1.2, I'm sticking with it.

I think the answer he is looking for is if the latest batch of replacements are working any better. I would love to tell ya, but I'm still waiting for a unit they told me a week ago had been shipped. FYI three other people I know that have S50's are beginning to have "no signal" issues. All three units are replacements from the orginals and have the latest firmware.

Just FYI, a few weeks of annoying cutting in and out preceded my ultimate "no signal" s50 burnout. Good luck.
