Default S50 Warranty Claim Class Action Lawsuit

Tired of the run around? Who would like to join me in a class action lawsuit against Sirius? I think we can get somewhere if I can get enough of you to join with me. I hate to give up the lawyer fees but, at this point, I have invested over $550 for just under 6 months of service - I want my money back and I want to be compensated for the time I have put into this. People have filed and won for less - Blockbuster was sued in this manner for over charging on late fees. Send me your contact info at Let's get together and send them a message they can't ignore! Who's with me?

Are you familiar at all with the Blockbuster case or class actions in general cuz thats not a good one to cite if you're hoping to recoup your losses:

Top Of The News: Bogus Blockbuster Settlement
Dan Ackman, 06.06.01, 9:58 AM ET

NEW YORK - The settlement of the Blockbuster late fee class-action litigation is a win-win--a win for Blockbuster and a win for the lawyers suing the company. Plaintiffs in the case will get coupons.

Over the years, the world's largest video-rental chain charged customers inflated fees for overdue rentals, fees that sometimes dwarfed the rental price itself, according to allegations in the case. Now that the case has been settled, Blockbuster will continue the practice. But it will also offer customers certificates for free rentals and $1 off non-food items.

Lawyers representing Blockbuster customers will receive $9.25 million, in cash, not coupons.

Class-action lawsuits have often been attacked as state-sanctioned shakedowns that mainly enrich the lawyers who bring them. The Blockbuster settlement could be Exhibit A in the case against the practice.

Of course the lawyers getting the $9.25 million are quick to object. "This is a good deal for Blockbuster customers," says Kevin Buchanan, the Dallas attorney who filed the action. The most one of Buchanan's clients can get is $18 in coupons.

Maybe Sirius will give all the broken S50 owners a free month of service, unfortunately, they'll probably use it up without having a working unit.

Any reason this couldn't have gone into one of the other 4-5 class action threads that are live right now?
