Default Does the S50 Squirt?

The Microsoft Zune allows you to “Squirt” a song compared the S50 that “Loves” a song.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15894451/site/newsweek/

I do not know who comes up with terms like “Love” or “Squirt” a song but both are horrible names for recording a song. One nice thing about the Zune is it squirts/loves/records/saves a song that can be played three times and then it’s erased. And that is documented!!!! The S50 will squirt/love/record/save a song but you can play as many times as you like over an infinite about of times until the bug in your S50 stops all your songs from playing.

Will we ever get a fix for our broken S50’s?

This is kind of an unusual thread for technology forum, but here are my observations. I have an S50. I have seen it love any time of the day or night. I have seen it love several times in a row. Once, it loved until it lost its memory. Apparently, it can love like a porn star. Yet, I have never observed a single squirt. I don't know if that is the case for other S50s, but that is what I have observed about mine.

The term makes sense to me, but the two things don't seem the same. What would be a better term? Transfer, shoot, share, transmit? The options either sound too technical, or they allude to past practices they don't want to mention or it sounds like something permanent. Microsoft is very aware of the implications of little words. In older versions of Windows, the command was Find... Now it is Search... Notice how Find implies a positive result? now they'll Search for it, but won't guarantee they'll Find anything...

As for Love, I think it's just being expressed incorrectly. You're not "love"ing a song, It should be that you are marking a song you "Love".

I think its fair that anyone between the age of 10 through 70 understands terms like “Record” and “Transfer” and can relate both words to a function on a consumer product with out a lot of thought.

Terms like “Love” a song or “Squirt” a song require an explication of what it really means. I am sure when most people explain to a friend what the term “Love” a song means they relate it to saving the song or recording the song.

Mine has done that also. Alot of people claim it was by design. Sirius should add that to the list of features.

S50 Feature list
"(Love) your favorite Song to be played back at a later time"
"All your song wil be (F*cked) at a random times by design"
