Default Docking station dead

Hi there everyone, first post.

My docking station (in the car) appears to be dead. It will not power up at all (and neither will the radio when docked, of course). The radio powers up fine when undocked. I also tried it in another car to make sure it's not my lighter outlet thing and it still doesn't work. My home kit works fine and the radio is humming along nicely so I think I've isolated it. I bought the thing yesterday so I figure I'll have to take it back to Circuit City but does anyone have any thoughts? Maybe some secret fix or some way to reset the car dock? Just thought I'd ask before I box this thing up.

Oh and I AM an actual mailman so if I don't like your replies I will shoot all of you. We do that you know.

It could also be the power cord itself. The only way to be sure is to try another one. The S50 power cord reduces the voltage from 12V down to 5V. I believe there might be an internal fuse inside that could be blown.
If you have a volt meter you could measure to see if voltage is coming out.

Sorry, but we don't want you going "Postal" over this issue.

Is yours still under warrantee?
