Does anyone know if this is still in effect? It used to specifically state this in the terms and conditions, now it just states you can transfer it three times.

Then again, maybe she just didn't know what the deal really was. lol Anyway, we hung up from her thinking that we're getting 3 free swaps. Guess we'll find out when we have to do it if it's true or not.
This is directly from the terms and conditions page at Sirius. It seems that she does not know what she is talking about.

Transfer Fee: If you wish to transfer your Subscription to a different SIRIUS Receiver during the term of a prepaid subscription or committed subscription period, we may charge you a transfer fee of up to $75.00. You may only transfer a lifetime Subscription to a different SIRIUS Receiver a maximum of three times.<<<<<<

This statement has changed two times that I know of. At one time this stated that warranty repairs do not count towards the three. It also said at one time that extended warranties do not apply to the exclusion of $75.00.

It may seem that way but then you have this statement also...

Seems that they don't always do what the terms say to do. For instance, me and my g/f each have an S50, but they are both on the same account. I had always heard that you could have only one lifetime sub per radio on the same account.

Well, the other night when I had offered to put my g/f on a separate account so that she could get the lifetime plan also like I did, the CS babe said to hold on a sec, she was gonna check to see if we could just do 2 lifetimers on the same account. She came back and says yes, it can be done! I said well damn, then do it! And there you have it.
